It takes you back to another time with its original architecture from the 1800's.The location on the outskirts of Bergerac is ideal as a base to plan multiple day trips. We visited the Lascaux IV caves, Chateau Beynac, Chareau Monbazillac, Le Bugue, Saint Émilion wineries, Bordeaux and more.Our hosts Marc and Danielle were very welcoming and made several recommendations to make our visit to the Perigord unforgettable. Our room was well appointed though cosy. People who enjoy a spacious room would want to specify that when booking. The restaurant is excellent. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner."

"Great place for peace and quiet after visiting wineries and Chateau Monbazillac. It’s larger than the photos depict and quite comfortable. The bed is soft with down pillows so sleeping can be challenging until you adjust to a more relaxed environment. The room is dark when the shutters are closed. Martin and his family are welcoming and yet allow total autonomy. "
