“Great stay! The place was very clean and extremely peaceful, which made it easy to relax. Check-in was quick and hassle-free. Would definitely stay here again.”

“This place was kind of scary. It is in an apartment building with sketchy elevators, unsecured entrances, & questionable residents. The place was also infested with Asian lady beetles. We went out and got some bug spray and a broom to tackle the problem but they came back with a vengeance. When we contacted VRBO they tried to get in touch with the host for a couple of hours with no luck. We ended up with only a partial refund as we obviously ended up having to leave.”

“An unexpected treasure! I booked Steele Magnolia for the days surrounding my daughter’s wedding. It was 20 minutes from Mountain View Farms which made it perfect. The cottage exceeded my expectations and was the perfect compliment to the sweet week of festivities! Shannon has thought of everything. It is perfectly detailed and contained so many conveniences! I felt right at home. The bed that I slept on was comfortably firm, there were plenty of pillows and extra blankets if they had been……

“Steele Magnolia is a rare gem. Cozy, comfy, clean, and peaceful. Host was great about communicating directions and we found fresh banana bread when we arrived. So glad we found this cottage. We chose it because the location was the halfway point to our southern Alabama destination. We were so pleased, we’ve already booked the cottage for our return trip. The Steele area has lots to offer nature lovers so this is a great place for a longer stay. Fabulous screened porch, too!”

“House was very big on the inside, plenty of seating in living room. Loveseat has some very bad stains and hallway bathtub was not clean. There were not enough towels, wash clothes for my family of 8. The bed with the twin on top had stained linens and not enough pillows. No extra blankets to use. Owner was super nice to work with and very accommodating. I would stay again. Sometimes the owner is not aware of the issues if no one post. ”
