Excellent clean property, staff were very helpful. Transport to Europa-Park is very easy, bus stop is right outside the hotel. Train station is only 10 minutes walk away for travel further afield. We will definitely be staying here again.

I have stopped at the hotel previously and booked again for convenience of location close to Europa Park. Easy drive up to park and also bus located outside car park which drops outside park. It is clean, staff always friendly

Ham and eggs excellent, car parking fee annoying

Friendly and helpful staff, early check-in (not guaranteed, of course), and a really good breakfast, including excellent ham, decent coffee, and some of the best scrambled eggs I've ever had in a hotel. My only gripe is an €8/day car parking fee, which I either didn't notice on Hotels.com, or wasn't listed there.

it would help if the cleaning service was not every 3 days as a lot of garbage were accumulated in the room. Room was a little bit narrow for 3 persons. Overall the hotel was well maintained clean and personnel was very helpful

Stayed for 5 nights while at Europa Park. Lovely clean hotel, usually stay in Premier Inn in UK when at theme parks and this was so much better. Breakfast was lovely, restocked constantly, clean hotel. They don’t clean your room every day but you can get towels etc from reception or housekeeping. They even decorated a table for my son’s birthday. Would definitely stay again.

Good value and good sleep.

Pros - Good size room, comfortable bed and good shower. All clean and tea/coffee facilities. Easy access to local roads. Friendly staff and helpful with gluten free rolls at breakfast. Cons - Had booked sofa bed too but had to make it myself, shame not a hot breakfast and extra cost to park. Air con also didn’t work. Otherwise all good.

Our stay was comfortable and we found the rooms to be very modern and clean. Breakfast is just OK and a bit repetitive after 3 days. The staff are friendly and the location is super close to Europa Park which is what we needed. Food options are limited but if you drive to neighbouring towns there are decent restaurant choices. The major negative for me is not having daily maid service. I do understand the environmental benefit, but after 3 days we really needed fresh towels. You have to ask reception for them but reception were happy to oblige.

This hotel is 5-7 minutes away from Europe Park that is the only advantage. They check inn lady was not nice or welcoming. Trying to get me to pay and provide my Credit Card - all good but welcome me first!! They want you to pay for parking for no reason! It should be included in the high price - They have a big parking area Infront of the hotel, they just added a sign and a gate to charge. The rooms are small, and they don't clean them unless you ask them to do so. We got a room that the toilet was dirty!! They did replace it but we never got such in other HIG . The room has NO Refrigerator - no ice to get only in the bar -and they try to charge you for everything, The table in room is very small and the Wifi was a little slow. Breakfast was fine had everything and more The hotel is not in the standards of Holiday INN express we slept all over Europe and the USA. They should upgrade the rooms and showers and provide a refrigerate in the room.

Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Service! We had a great experience at the Holiday Inn, especially thanks to the amazing customer service. A big shoutout to Ms. Louis—she was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding throughout our stay. Initially, we booked one room for two adults and our two teenagers, which came with one double bed and a sofa bed. The only issue? Our teens—a boy and a girl—don’t always get along (typical sibling stuff!), and one of them even volunteered to sleep on the floor to avoid conflict. When we mentioned this to Ms. Louis, she immediately looked into a solution for us. Despite it being a busy Saturday near Europa Park, she worked her magic and found us two rooms across from each other, each with twin beds for the kids. It only cost a little extra, and it was absolutely worth it. Her effort truly made a difference in our stay! The rooms were a good size, very clean, and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. The hotel overall was well-maintained and welcoming. As for a couple of suggestions: the AC could be stronger—it was a bit weak, though we still slept comfortably. Also, having a mini-fridge and a microwave in the room would be a nice touch, especially for late-night snackers like us. That said, we had no complaints at all. Thank you, Holiday Inn—we’ll definitely be back!

The place is great except the paid parking. The place is almost innthe middle of nowhere and they charge for parking. I am ok to pay for parking but it should be in the description of the property . The Musli Bircher dish was VERY VERY GOOD, I regret of not asking for their recipe.
