“Very nice place. Cute cabin with lovely views. The fire pit are with a covered couch swing is great for evenings. If you are an early riser, there are nice sunrise views of the mountains. Enclosed property so you feel safe at night. We even dozed off one night on the swing looking at the stars. Hot tub was good and seemed well cared for. “One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out.”

“We had a great time at the Roundhead Mountain Cabin. The hot tub sunset views were spectacular! The cabin was clean, well-equipped, and cozy. The only caution I can offer is the road up to the cabin -- It rained on us one day, and even in a 4x4 SUV, it was an intense effort to get up and down from the cabin due to the ruts on the dirt road. The communication from the property manager was immediate and helpful with a problem we experienced. I would stay here again if we go out to the area.”

Highly recommend this mountain retreat. ”
