“30 mins before check in we were informed of a burn ban that had been in effect for several days- not being able to have a campfire was a huge bummer and this info should have been shared earlier. Because of the ban I asked for our destination fee back-it’s a $30 day fee for firewood and “curated snacks” which was a bag of popcorn and instant oatmeal and some smores. I felt that since we couldn’t have a fire the fee should be refunded because the cabin is right our plan had been some campfires……

“Listing said there was a hot tub, but there was none, the listing said there was a fireplace inside, but there was none. The amenities were too far to the next building to even enjoy and difficult to find at night time, but the bed was very comfortable and the patio was nice. “This property was one of the best we have stayed at. It was everything we needed, the bedroom and bathroom luxurious. The kitchen area was the perfect size, stocked with a choice of coffees, teas and snacks. It’s perfectly located to go to the many wineries, restaurants and shopping in the area, It is an easy drive into Charlottesville. Our hostess was great, texting to check if we needed anything.
