"Burnside excellent. Downside - beds / frames could do with an upgrade as noisy in most bedrooms. Great property, wood burning fire makes it feel so cosy. Beach, golf, pubs and restaurants all on door stop. Great place for a family break."

"We spent a wonderful week at Fruachan Cottage. We often went hiking for a very long time and were very happy to come back to the cosy cottage in the evening. Pure relaxation and deceleration! The communication with Fiona was very good."

"Superb property! The views from the balcony over the Dornoch Firth were just lovely. The cottage is so comfortable and really well equipped, with everything and more that you need! "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Wee Hoose. Everything required for a comfortable break away was provided. We particularly loved the welcome pack and fresh flowers on arrival. The cottage was clean and cosy with a fabulous view from the garden and very strong wi-fi. The Wee Hoose felt welcoming, like a home away from. Thanks for a relaxing stay."

"We are 2 seniors in our 70s. We knew that there would be stairs, but the listing did not reflect the magnitude of the stairs involved. Perhaps that was our fault for not asking enough questions, but the listing could be more forthright.On arrival, you have two choices. The rear parking area is fine, but the path down to the house is loose stones, so prepare to carry your luggage down. You can access the house from the street, but it is also steep, and the walkway is rough stones with limited...

"Very nice house, handy for all local shops pub etc. Slightly tricky access in and out of the parking area. Need to be careful on the staircase - an older property so nothing can be done but could be an issue for some people or small children."

"Very good, well-equipped cottage. Easy to access from the main road and easy parking. Well kept outdoor spaces for relaxingLots of info in the cottage on activities and amenities.Good communications , both emails and personal visit from the owner.Cottage also has a microwave and DVD player (we didn't see these mentioned in the original spec.)"

"What an amazing cottage. Such a lovely location, beautiful scenery and a perfect homely feel. Large open spaces and nicely decorated. Plenty of equipment for all your needs and extremely comfortable beds. And a beautiful garden to sit out in and relax .Communication and information was efficient. On arrival, we had a fabulous hamper set up for us which was a really nice touch. Overall, would 100% recommend this cottage. We will definitely be booking to stay here again in the future. "
