“The apartment is a great choice for a short break in Perpignan, situated in the heart of the old town and walkable to everywhere in the city. The apartment offers more space than a typical hotel room and has facilities like kitchen and laundry. The A/C and fan provided a comfortable room despite the exceptionally high temperatures outside. The entrance to the property isn't ideal, being in the old town and there were generally a few locals immediately outside the property whenever we left or……

“I don't like the setting of my room. There was an image of a person on the wallpaper and scared me and my wife. We can not sleep the whole night.”

“The property was fine for the price. The location is excellent, but you cannot take Uber there given it’s more of an alley location. But that ended up not being a big problem. Be careful though on check yet. The written communication is a bit vague. If you get there from 3 PM to 8 PM there is a guard that lets you in with no problem. Outside of those hours make sure to contact them. Written instructions imply that you need to contact them no matter what. We found that that is not the case. And……

“Reception at check-in were a little grumpy. Bathroom was too small. No coffee or tea provided. Comfortable bed. Ok for one night.”

“Breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs and bacon along with the ham/cheese/baguettes/pastries/cereal. I'm sure the one machine for coffee/chocolate/hot water/hot milk is convenient, unless there are a number of people wanting to use it at the same time. It wasn't very busy the days I stayed, but even with 7 or 8 people there was still a queue. The small slices of muesli bread roll were delicious! The room was large and clean, with a wardrobe space, desk and chair, while the large glass doors……

“The hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff very helpful and the pool area was lovely. We didn’t have a car so used taxis to get into the centre or to the beach.. but that wasn’t a problem.”

I didn’t use the spa, so I can’t comment on that. The food was ok, some dishes were great others not so much. I would definitely stay again.”

“A lovely quiet spot for a 2 night stopover. Welcomed the air conditioning in the recent heat. Fabulous staff and a decent buffet breakfast. Secure parking. A 7 minute walk for a regular bus into town. Turn right when you leave the property and walk over what looks like scrubland to the roundabout for the bus. Some eating opportunities but not much around. Hypermarket nearby. Long walk back or taxi in the evening as the buses finish early. Maps gives a lovely cycle route into town. Save it……

“Prima hotel voor de doorreis. De driepersoonskamer en badkamer waren schoon. Het enige punt van aandacht was dat wij het stapelbed (het eenpersoons bed boven) zelf moesten opmaken. Er lag een tas met alle benodigdheden op het bed klaar. In eerdere Ibis Budget hotels op de afgelopen dagen was dit netjes al gedaan. Juist omdat wij iets later binnenkwamen en wij moe van de autorit waren, viel dit ons tegen (zeker omdat het hoog is). Wij hadden twee dezelfde kamers naast elkaar en bij beide waren ze……
