"Our stay at the Monkey flower villas was nothing absolutely amazing - The location is something else, and I would say this is the most unique stay we've ever had. Placed at the edge of the jungle in the hillside of Koh Tao. Adding to that the hospitality of Steve and Mo added so much to our experience and the driver service offered by the resort is amazing. "Incredible views! Location is quite isolated relative to the small island, so be prepared to scooter (ideally) or taxi quite a bit. Beautiful beaches (Tanote, Shark bay, Freedom) nearby. Staff is friendly and helpful but not all of then speak English. But there will always be someone around who will. Overall a great experience and would recommend to all."

"I stayed in the dorm which had 5 single beds as opposed to the usual bunk beds. Beds were reasonably comfy, only came with one blanket, and no towels provided. Aircon and fans available in the room. Staff were relatively friendly, but did not offer advice about the area/things to do etc... without being asked. A short minute or 2 walk to the beach, shops and bars, but far enough away that it is quiet. Not a party hostel"

"An amazing hotel. We were beyond happy. Beautiful grounds- the pictures seriously do not do it justice. The pool was fantastic and Sunny was extremely helpful. You can rent bikes from here too and they are super chill and the whole experience was fantastic. If we ever visit Koh Tao again, we will stay here! The room was absolutely perfect and had the comfiest bed. "
