Central Hotel is lovely. A perfect place to stay in Casco Viejo. Centrally located near restaurants and sights. The included breakfast buffet was perfect. The gentlemen making omelets was on point. Service overall was excellent except housekeeping didn't show up until 6pm to clean our room, so we declined service. Not a huge deal since we were only there 2 nights.

I stayed here for my birthday for a week. I’m not sure why this is considered a five-star hotel when there’s plenty room for improvement. The pro- breakfast, constant staff out in the front entrance, the in-house events and convenient location The cons- limited staff speaking English, extremely noisy until sun down, the staff cherry picks who they want to assist with baggage, GUEST have to pay to visit you unless common area, overpriced convenient store inside, limited seating at pool, the tub was cracked and filthy

I really loved the fact that this resort was situated in a rainforest and away from the city. Beautiful golf courses and nature everywhere. The staff is really very very friendly and will give you everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The place is very safe and you have tours within the resort. It is a slighly older propert around 50 years olds but facilities are great. Kudos to the management and staff for a great experience. Highly recommend this place. Do play golf while you are here can't get any better.
