"The rooms are very comfortable with large decks and beautiful views right on the ocean. The pool area is fantastic and there is a nice new spa area for a terrific massage. Dinner and breakfast service were very good (get to know the waiters!). On busy days, they had a buffet which I would recommend they continue every day. Do NOT rent a car from the agency they work with. We had a jeep with no break lights or turn signals. Piece of junk for the price. Help at the front desk was good depending on who was working.…"

"Pros: Room was nice for older hotel, food was good for an all inclusive, drinks and bar tenders were great. We were able to get pool and beach chairs most days Cons; A lot of the people staying at the hotel have stayed there for years and they are not afraid to tell you that and to act entitled, they save a ton of the pool chairs for the whole day like they own them. Just know you have to walk across the street for the buffet and beach, and ocean view room is not worth the extra money.…"

"This was our second stay here for many reasons but the main was b/c the first time we stayed I had left my grandmother's diamond necklace in the safe and they found it and returned it to me. Such honesty and integrity is so hard to find now a days. And of course the service and accommodations are impeccable! We also chose this again b/c of the awesome snorkeling right off their beach which a lot of the beach front resorts don't even have an actual beach area.I used google earth to check them out and decided this was the best beach front for us and was absolutely right. One of the front desk mngrs has a brother-in-law that is a dive master and I got certified while I was there as well. We love Playa Azul and will always return there! The Jenkins family_…"
