"This little apartment was a great jumping off point for our weekend in the Mosel Valley. We were able to park in front of the hotel at night for free with the blue parking ring. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Soap in the shower, extra bathmats for the bathroom floor (there is no door on the shower so water splashes around), in addition to a small vacuum (the clean freak in me was thrilled) and a tablet with information about the hotel and area. My only hesitancy is that...
"The worst experience. Room was on full air conditioning and staff had no idea what to do. Had to wear a hat and coat in the room. Restaurant was terrible and over priced. Waiter literally tossed my plate down and food was almost inedible. Airport shuttle was half hour late. Do not stay jere!"
"The hotel is near the motorway and you have a code to check in. So you can check in at any time. For 1 night, arriving at 23.00 and leaving at 8 it ideal."

Schloss Martinsburg is just one of the places to see in Lahnstein, so why not enjoy the other things to explore during your travels? While you're in the area, stroll along the riverfront.
"Very cute boutique hotel if you want to stay at a quiet area that's a train ride away from Konstanz. The rooms are very nice and we got the room with the balcony. There are very steep and narrow stairs to go to the room so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues and a lot of luggage. Staff is very friendly and check in was a breeze. Parking is free but a little far from the hotel itself, but still walkable."

My only hesitancy is that this apartment had a twin bed and pull out mattress. We booked late and this was what was left and it worked for us, however a real bed would have been better. I also wish, with the price of the apartment, that breakfast at the hotel nextdoor was complimentary. The hosts were all very helpful and pleasant. "
