“I stayed at the King Hotel for a couple of nights while my wife was at Benenden hospital for an operation. The hotel room was very clean and well appointed. Plenty of towels, shower gel, coffee & tea and biscuits for a two night stay. Really good shower in the en suite. Parking right by the room ( chalet type). Free wi fi as well. The Indian Restaurant ''The Raja of Kent'' is next door to the hotel and I went there for a meal on the first night. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the……

“Condition of my room was fair , wallpaper that looked like it had been painted over was peeling , Fan in room did not work and picture missing off wall but hooks left in it. Bathroom looked refurbished and nice, staff were nice. Unable to order room service as no one answered the phone , spa did not call me to make an apt. And I was unable to eat in the restaurant on both occasions I tried so I ate in the bar. ”

“Stayed in a twin room which was a last minute booking for myself and a friend. Yes the hotel is dated and a bit quirky but it's welcoming with friendly helpful staff, has character and breakfast is included. Beds were comfortable with fresh white linen. ”

“Found the hotel overall pleasant , i stayed one night i didn't have a very good night sleep found the very hard pillow was very uncomfortable, there was two off us staying in the room there was only one bath towel we had to ask for another and one cup .
