Hotel was really nice overall. Rooms need to be updated however. Ate at the restaurant and the food was really good. Hotel staff was friendly. Bathroom shower really needed a deep cleaning. But overall a good hotel.

I'm a repeater here and I love this hotel. It's located near Cheongdam station, and you can walk to Apgujeong Rodeo area. I stayed at a room with bath tub, which was so relaxing. I'd like to swim in the pool next time I'm in Seoul.

Room was clean and staff was ok but the reason why I give only 3 stars is because there was no outlet in the bathroom so I couldn’t dry hair… had to dry in the bedroom near mirror but dryer cord was short so had to ask for extension cord… never seen a hotel bathroom with no outlet for dryer😱

The room had everything you need, the hotel is nice, the staff was friendly although it took me a while to communicate in english with one of the receptionists. Also the location of the place is very good, close to restaurants and a shopping mall.

The hotel Riviera is a great hotel. I would thoroughly recommend it for business visits. I do not recommend it for tourist visits. I had a lovely stay there and I found it challenging to get tourist information (what buses to catch etc) the staff were very helpful and tried their best. It is all about horses for courses and my thoughts were if I was going on a business trip to Seoul I would definitely stay here, but for tourism next time I would probably stay in Myeongdong

This is my second stay at Hotel Riviera. The rooms seem a bit dated but otherwise no complaints. Staff is amazing and speak English, check in took about 3 minutes. Location is great just outside Gangnam-dong tourists areas. It is about a 20 minute walk to COEX there are a few eateries nearby. Breakfast buffet is adequate and the coffee is decent. Pool is nice and the staff was extremely helpful. I will stay here again on my next visit to Seoul for sure.

The staff service is good and the room is clean. Many restaurants are available near the hotel. However, there are many new buildings are middle of construction so you can get some noise and the air quality near the hotel is not good.

Great stay for English speaking tourists

The hotel was everything we needed it to be for our first trip to Seoul. The bedrooms had quality air conditioning, the room was soundproof, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom included at bidet and had decent water pressure in the shower. The hotel itself is wheelchair accessible. The staff were friendly, the gym was nice, and the breakfast buffet had many options. After long days out and about, the hotel dining became a great opportunity for food before bed, with a variety of meals to choose from. The wait staff were accommodating to my gluten allergy which made my trip significantly easier as I knew I had a guaranteed option for food. The hotel itself is walking distance from a bus stop and located near a nice cafe and wheelchair accessible convenience store, which made getting to destinations and gathering necessities rather easy. It was a great stay and I recommend this hotel to tourists, as the accommodation met our needs and allowed us to focus on enjoying the city to its fullest extent.

Gangnam Stay for the win

I stayed in this hotel from June 13-28…It would have been nice to be given a discount for extended stay but instead it was more expensive…Great location! 15 minute walk to Coex Mall…snake staff friendly female staff not so friendly…there were kids and it was labeled adults only
