“Excellent location just 1km (easy 15min walk) to and from the port at Livadi. Room was a decent size and well maintained and cleaned. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Pickup from the ferry is ideal. Pool was clean and life guard ensured no rowdiness! Beach, though not the best on the island, was very convenient. And sunbeds for guests were usually available though I'm not sure about what happens in peak season. A little more initiative from sunbed staff to keep beds clean and ensure……

“This was a lovely property with their restaurant set right at the beach. It was a really delightful setting. The room was very clean and cool with a little patio area at the back. There was a place to hang a reasonable amount of washing. We had breakfast and lunch at the hotel restaurant a couple of time. There was a tasty and extensive menu. “The residence is within walking distance from the port. It’s a peaceful retreat in itself, with beautiful views of the mountains and stars at night. Maria’s cheerful smile each morning while serving breakfast was the highlight and the rooms and grounds were clean. Look for the chickpea soup if you stay on Sunday!”

“Vi fick ett rum med egen pool. Det var rent och trevlig personal. Utsikt över berg när man badade i poolen. På morgonen när vi skulle iväg tidigt var personalen super vänliga och såg till att få ut frukosten till oss. Det var en fantastisk buffe. Ligger lite från hamnen upp för backen, men inga problem att gå dit.”

“Delightful ocean view! Our host Giannis was beyond hospitable and gave us a lift back to the bus stop in Artemonas. The kitchen was very convenient, with a cook top and cook ware (frying pan, pot, etc.) Air conditioning was available, but the ocean breeze was all we needed to keep it pleasantly cool. The trash was removed daily. 10/10 amazing place!”

“The Alk Hotel is an amazing place to stay. The staff are all wonderful & so kind and helpful. We arrived early & our room was ready, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed & great view. Breakfast was perfect, a selection of hot and cold, all so fresh & totally delicious. Great coffee too! A massive thank you to Rita. Unfortunately a glass slipped from my hand a shattered everywhere in our room at 9pm. Rita came and swept it up & hoovered to ensure no pieces left. I’m sure she was about to……
