Woodland A-Frame

Welcome to your peaceful woodland retreat in Sharon, CT. This recently renovated, light-filled A-frame is nestled on 16 acres of private forestland with enchanting moss-covered boulders and abundant natural beauty.

Step inside and enjoy modern comforts paired with rustic charm. The home features three cozy bedrooms—two downstairs and one upstairs—and two full bathrooms, including a soaking tub on the main floor and a shower upstairs. The fully updated kitchen includes a dishwasher and everything you need to cook and entertain. A washer and dryer are also available for guest use.

In the warmer months, relax around the stone-lined fire pit with Adirondack chairs, or sip coffee on the front porch as the morning light filters through the trees. On chilly nights, curl up by the fireplace after a day exploring the nearby Sharon Land Trust trails—just a short walk from the front door.

As a guest, you’ll also enjoy access to Mudge Pond, just down the road. This serene spot is perfect for canoeing, kayaking, fishing, or swimming. Sharon’s town beach is located right on the pond and features a sandy shoreline, lifeguards, bathrooms, changing rooms, and a playground—making it ideal for families looking to unwind by the water.

Though private and tranquil, the home is only minutes from the heart of Sharon, where you'll find an upscale market, charming restaurants, and the best of Litchfield County hospitality.

Quiet and easy

Nice, clean place out in the woods. Enjoyed our stay and had no issues. Host responded quickly and check-in/out was refreshingly simple. Our kid enjoyed the supply of children’s books.
