“Loved the cabin. Clean. Loved being in walking distance to a farm pond, and activities in the pavilion area. Wasn’t far away from our hiking locations. I like that it is pet-friendly if we choose. Had everything we needed including dry wood for firepit. We had special guests (cats in the area) hung with us on the porch and around the fire. Overall great location. Great experience! ”

“We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is older but has all the comforts of home, with lots of thoughtful touches throughout. Anytime we needed something, it was there — from toiletries and cooking spices to little candies left for the kids when we checked in.We loved the remote, rural setting — it was peaceful and a great place to unwind after long days of hiking, biking, and exploring the forest. The only small downside was some traffic noise from trucks passing by in the mornings, but it……

“We had the best time at the Treehouse! Its close to all the major trails (Garden of the Gods is literally down the street as is Rim Rock and Pounds Hollow). The Treehouse is the perfect size, was spotlessly clean and the hot tub was the best way to finish off a day of hiking. The group managing these properties does a great job with check in, check out and also checking up on you during your stay. Highly recommend if you're wanting to explore the Shawnee area!”

“We loved staying in the tree house. We came with our twin 19 year old daughters and while it was small there was plenty of room and beds were very comfortable. I think the expectation should be camping with very dry, comfortable enclosure air conditioned, heated and indoor plumbing! ”

“Great location - cabin is nicely equipped with basic necessities. Couldn’t have a fire because of dryness in the area but loved the hot tub for achy muscles and relaxation. Would come again ”
