A trip to an island — no matter what kind — should feature on any good travel itinerary. Make your escape complete by heading to Shimoshima and spending some time by the water.
Amakusa, where Shimoshima is located, is brimming with things to see and do. Many travelers also stop by Amakusa Koregio Museum, which is within easy reach of the water-surrounded land mass. Have a look around before you move on.
