“We frequently choose older motels that cost less. We look closely at their photos, and if it looks updated and clean we choose it. Usually we find it is owned/managed by an immigrant family, frequently from the Subcontinent, and they do an excellent job with the older property. The Royal Inn in Hudson, Wis., is such a place. It was very clean, the air conditioning worked well on a hot day, parked right in front of our room. Convenient location.”

“By far the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were filled with mold and stains on practically every piece of furniture in the room. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, I squatted over the toilet the 1 time I needed to pee. The floors were sticky and the AC barely worked. It smelt like straight mold and I will never stay in a hotel related to this company again. I felt unsafe my entire stay and only stayed in the hotel room for 6 hours in total due to needing to rest……

“We loved our balcony view room facing the river. The rocking chairs made it perfect for enjoying the evening outside. Location is ideal for enjoying downtown and the river.”

“This was pretty decent stay. Room was clean. AC worked well. Hotel all together was pretty clean. Breakfast was kind of lacking, basically a few cold items and toastable items to get you going. All in all I would stay again.”

“Overpriced. Continental breakfast is bagels cereal and a waffle machine. No hot food other than make your own waffles. No dresser for clothes, phone in room did not work so no way to contact desk. No elevator.”

“This hotel is garbage, I DONT RECOMMEND this to my friend. We paid almost 500$ for 2 nights and then our deposites got deducted another 40$ because they think we’re smoking. Which is we’re not. My husband and I bought a candle for our special night . And then 60$ more because of the bed sheets have stain on it. And the shampoo and soap I don’t have nothing to say .What f kind of hotel is this. Don’t used this hotel for your vacation . NOT GOD AT ALL.”
