“Very comfy, peaceful place right on the Gunnison River.Great for 2 people. Town of Gunnison is nearby for supplies, groceries, restaurants. We got groceries at Natural Grocers and cooked in. Spent a lot of time out in the yard watching fishermen and rafters go by on the river.Spent a full day at Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP, which was about 60 miles away. “Check-in was a snap, and the owners are very responsive! Kitchen is well appointed, but be advised does not have a microwave. No issue heating leftovers in a pan! Paonia is a beautiful town. This cottage is walkable to everything on Grand Ave, and even out to the Berg mercantile. Our second stay at this property and we loved it just as much as the first time! ”

“BEDBUG ALERT!! One of the bedrooms in the upstairs was full of bedbugs. It has bit us all over and made us feel so uncomfortable and itchy. There were no cribs for the babies/toddlers. Not a great option for families. Apart from this, the view from the cabin was great. ”
