“I got an email on the day of our arrival saying that the reservation was canceled to a break in. Had to scramble to find a place for 6 people. We were successful due to the help of some of the locals. During our conversation was told that the house as trashed During a party mor than a week before our arrival, further more they told me that even without the damage done during the party that the house is run down and seriously in need of repairs and should not even be available to rent. Over all……

“We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Retreat. The location right by the sea was peaceful and relaxing. The house also had everything we needed and was comfortable. Liesel, the property manager, was helpful and available to answer any questions. Would stay again!”

“This house is in a great location just a few minutes from grocery, restaurants and the dive shops. The outdoor space is fantastic with a warm pool and beautiful ocean views, and the screened porch is nice for enjoying warm evenings without bugs. The inside is dark and has lots of knickknacks, so it’s not a good place for young children.”

“We stayed in the 2 bed/2bath suite which we loved. Although there isn’t much of a common area, we spent all of our time on the balcony overlooking the pool and bar area. We looked at various rentals for next year but decided the hotel was perfect! The entire staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The food—especially breakfast—was great. This is a great place to stay for our yearly dive vacation.”
