“We booked this cottage some months ago for a trip to Silverstone. Having received no information about check in by the day before our booking, I sent a message but got no reply. Despite sending further messages via the hotels.com app, we had no idea how to get a key for the property. On arrival, there was no one there. We rang the helpline and were transferred to someone in USA who didn’t seem to understand our situation and offered a full refund. By chance, we discovered a key outside the……

“Apartment 5 was clean, comfortable, well appointed, and spacious; we enjoyed our stay. We only wish that the windows would open more easily and STAY open (the force of gravity kept pulling the living room window shut). ”

“Lovely place in the middle of nowhere. Good size room. Only thing was it was 2 singles pushed together, the gal wasn’t comfy so ended up sharing one side. So it’s ok if you have a partner you don’t want to be near! Breakfast was nice too.”

“I stayed in this hotel room and it was ridiculously hot to the point of being unbearable. The air conditioning either didn’t work or was completely ineffective, and the room felt like a sauna all night. I wasn’t able to sleep at all, which completely ruined my stay. For the price I paid, this is unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here until they fix their temperature control issues.”

“we had a lovely stay. the owner was really helpful and nothing was to much trouble lots of information on things to do in the area, restaurant and pubs too the cabin was very clean with everything we needed we will definitely be coming back to this wonderful get away ”

“4 adults, 2 infants and a baby. Great size accommodation, but the stairs aren’t the most child friendly (bare that in mind and maybe take a stair gate). We did find it extremely warm OR freezing if we turned the heating down, hard to get the right temperature. Bathrooms could do with a little more through cleaning but overall a lovely property, and great location. ”
