Had a fantastic stay at Top Rooms. The staff were very helpful and obliging. The location is perfect - right by the water and an easy walk to the old town. The room was clean and modern, very well maintained. I would absolutely stay again

It is a beautiful place with a beautiful view. It would’ve been helpful to have directions on exactly how to find it and how to get in initially. This is more like an Airbnb with multiple rooms than a hotel FYI. It’s on the fourth floor and there are not any elevators.

Had a good time staying in Top Rooms, the apartment is compact but comfortable, roof terrace is great. Location is excellent - a 5 min walk from the old town. Lot's of stairs but we knew what we were getting into

Nice Room in Split

It was not clear that there were 5 flights of stairs. Roof top terrace steps were metal circular and furniture on terrace was rustic at best. However, view was lovely from the terrace and location of room to town was perfect. Parking is very difficult in the area, and perhaps a single simple map would have been very beneficial.

My stay got off to a bad start for several reasons. First, I was required to pay in cash, more than €500. This was both frustrating and time-consuming. Second, there is NO PARKING. One of the main reasons I booked this property. parking was listed as for €10 per day. Upon arrival, I was informed that there was no parking at all. Third, the room was located on the top floor. Be aware that this means climbing five flights of stairs, as there is No elevator in the building. Fourth, my reservation indicated that the room would have a sea view. It did not. Finally, the bathroom is very uncomfortable and poorly designed. There is virtually no space to place toiletries or personal items, which makes it inconvenient to use.

Fifth floor walk up. 95 steps with luggage, fortunately we had little. Basically no windows, a small window opening to an air well full of pigeons. No alarm needed as the pigeons are up at dawn and coo loudly and nonstop for a couple hours. No shower door so showering floods the bathroom which is very dark. A single light about head height shines from the right. Left side of face in deep shadow so shaving, applying sunscreen or makeup is a challenge. It’s the only mirror in the unit. Contrary to the listing breakfast is not included—which the host blamed on Expedia. Coffee maker didn’t work, 2 packets of instant coffee for a 2 night stay 2 people. Room is tiny with bed in corner so only one way in and out for two people. Horrible at any price.

Great location along the waterfront. Rooftop patio was fun and offered awesome views. Host was friendly and helpful. Laundry was available on site. Our room was tight but enough for the two of us. 97 stairs with no elevator option so just be prepared. There is no information or front desk on the ground floor so we had difficulty checking in. The desk is on the top floor.

The apartment was lively however breakfast was not included. I went to the places recommended one appeared to wither be closed down or undergoing renovations amd the other made me pay.

The problem was that we were on the 4th floor, 98 stairs steps with no elevator. Anyone who stays her should be aware. We are in our 70’s and it was pretty tough.

Fantastic location, fantastic host, fantastic view location - could walk to old town, the hills, the beach, supermarket, restaurants plus excellent transport links if you wanted to go further a field. host - always there when needed but didn't crowd you. Available on WhatsApp and answered straight away. Nothing was too much trouble View - called top rooms for a reason, lots of steps to get to the apartment and no lift but we knew this when booked and it didn't bother us, the views were amazing looking across the harbour. Breath-taking Would highly recommend

Erstmal das positive: - Mitarbeiter waren nett und hilfsbereit - Lage war super mit einer schönen Aussicht aus dem kleinen Fenster Negativ: - Bei meiner Suche nach einer Unterkunft in Split habe ich nach einem Hotel gefiltert, aber es handelt sich eher um ein gut organisiertes Bed and Breakfast - Das Frühstück ist in einer Bar gegenüber am Wasser. Die Mitarbeiter dieser Bar waren total lustlos. Und die Gäste dort waren schon Morgens am saufen. Zwischen saufenden und rauchenden Gästen war das kein schönes Erlebnis, darum sind wir dort auch nicht mehr hin - Über dem Whirlpool sieht man deutlich Schimmelspuren - Es gab nur zwei hacken um Handtücher aufzuhängen und das bei vier Handtüchern die von der Unterkunft bereitgestellt worden sind und noch zwei unserer Strandhandtücher - Das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig. Gäste die zu späterer Stunde aufs Zimmer sind haben uns immer geweckt

This is a complaint for Expedia I am writing to raise a complaint regarding a recent booking I made through Expedia for accommodation in Split, Croatia in “Top Rooms accommodation”. When making the booking, I specifically selected and paid extra for a sea-facing room. The photographs shown during the booking process on the specific room description I clicked on, depicted a room with views overlooking Split Harbour, which was a significant factor in our decision to book this accommodation and pay the additional cost. However, upon arrival, we were extremely disappointed to find that our room did not have anything resembling a sea view. Instead, our view looked over a car park and directly into another apartment building. We raised this issue immediately with the hostess, who advised us that Expedia sometimes labels rooms as "sea facing" when this simply means the property is located by the sea. Quite frankly, this explanation is ridiculous and entirely inconsistent with what was advertised during the booking process. I am sure you can appreciate our disappointment. We paid a premium for a particular room type and experience that was not delivered. Had the room been accurately described, we would either have chosen a different room category or considered alternative accommodation altogether. This was not a cheap booking, and the view was one of the key reasons we selected and paid extra for this accommodation. As such, I believe the room description and imagery used on Ex

Aluguei um quarto com vista para o mar e o quarto oferecido não possuía janelas e a vista que havia no quarto era de uma pequena janelinha para uma área de circulação interna com uma ave morta há muitos dias trazendo mau cheiro. A propriedade não informou que os quartos estão no 4o piso com necessidade de subir mais de 100 degraus o que para uma pessoa com mais de 60 anos é bagagem como no meu caso não é aceitável.

위치가 좋아서 번화가 거리와 왕궁, 선착장 등 볼거리가 가까이있음. 객실 내부를 잘 만들고 관리하는 회사측의 노력이 돋보였음. 스플릿에는 오래전에 지어진 건물들이 대부분인 관계로 다른 숙박시설의 경우와 같이 주차가 어려움. 엘리베이터가 없으므로 여행가방을 4층까지 들고올라갈 대비를 해야함.

Bonjour, je me permets d’écrire ces quelques notes à propos de l’établissement, chose que je fais rarement. Cependant, j’ai été très déçu par l’établissement. J’y ai réserver une chambre, avec enthousiasme, avec « vue sur mer », jaccuzi, la totale pour ma compagne et moi. Le jour J, suspens ? Je n’ai pas la chambre réserver sur le site. Ni vue sur mer, ni jaccuzi, à la plage une baignoire. Je prends donc contact par message avec le personnel ( a savoir qu’il n’y personne, les contacts se font uniquement par messagerie téléphonique ). Je suis confus, ce n’est pas la chambre que j’ai réservé. Après de longues minutes à échanger, l’on m’informe que la chambre que j’ai loué, n’était pas disponible au date de mon séjour… j’ai donc payé une chambre qui n’était pas disponible ! J’ai payé pour un service dont je n’ai jamais vue la couleur ! En guise de compensation, le personnel m’a gentiment invité à me détendre sur la « terrasse » de l’établissement où j’y trouverais une table et des chaises pour admirer la vue et passer du temps. Je vous fais donc part de ma frustration, je recomande vivement un hôtel conventionnel, de métier, respectant les codes de l’hôtellerie et du bon sens.
