Hotel Marul is in a great location, just a short walk from Split’s Old Town, the Riva, and plenty of restaurants. Parking can be a bit challenging, but the rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and it’s a solid choice if you want to explore the city on foot.

Hotel Marul is located in Split just steps from Old town. Parking is available in the nearby parking lot, but navigating to it was very tricky, took a while and asking locals. Parking fee is covered by hotel. Very good breakfast with natural fresh juices you can do yourself from the fruits and carrot of your choice, coffee, pastry, cheese, eggs made to order. Restaurant is in the garden, pleasant isolated location fenced from the streets around. We have not tried eating dinner. Staff is helpful, rooms have space, bathroom clean. We are happy with out stay.

Great location, just a few minutes walk to the main parts of tourist Split. The hotel is peaceful, the garden is a lovely spot for breakfast, and as mentioned in other reviews, the eggs are good! My room was a good size, it had a clean bathroom, and aircon, which was very necessary as I was there during a heatwave. If I came to Split again I’d definitely stay here again.

Weekend in Split

Maja at reception was incredible She was extremely helpful with the check in, she gave us loads of recommendations, helped up with our ticket for parking which had become damp in the storm and even wished us well on our travels on the last night. The breakfast was lovely in the garden and the hotel staff were generally very accommodating
