The location could not have been better either. The only problem we encountered was it being so hot inside. The AC is in one of the bedrooms so the rest of the house stays pretty hot, especially the bedroom with the two beds. Despite having windows open, fans running constantly, and keeping all doors to bedrooms open, it still was incredibly hot. Other than that, the place was great. Our time in St Ignace wA wonderful except we needed more information on how to work the TV. Also not sure if fireplace worked. No big deal because we were out and about but would be nice if thats something you're interested in having. We had a minor issue that we needed to contact the host about and she answered right away. We loved the peace and quiet the red pine offered- we enjoyed sitting around the fire one night too. A great time was had by all! We definitely recommend this place and will be back! We (4 adults in the same family) stayed at The Red Pome in mid-June 2025 and went to Mackinac Island for the Lilac Festival.This property is beautiful -- clean, thoughtfully decorated, and extremely comfortable. They never responded to the dirty house. You think they would have sent someone to check. We arrived late in the night and discovered we didnt have the access code for the property. We were provided with a wrong access code and ended up sleeping in a hotel. The host was apologetic and refunded the one night. We got situated in the property next day. The house is well maintained and close to downtown and other amenities. The house doesnt have a dishwasher. I recommend getting one as its convenient. The property managers are slow in responding. We had to wait hours before a response.
