6.4 out of 10, (7 reviews)
"This property was designed and built for Czech citizens. It is not a place for foreigners who are used to updated and elegant services. They have a buffet dinner server for 3 hours with limited options. Really everything here is designed for Czech Nationals and they seam to enjoy this place but it is not up to standards for your personal westerner. The place is designed in the soviet erra so it looks like a prison. But the views and area is absolutly outstanding"

Hotel Medlov Dependance
2.0 star property
Frysava pod Zakovou horou
4.8 out of 10, (3 reviews)
""Dependances" means the "old independent almost abandoned building", far from the main one where the reception and almost good rooms are. A kind of nightmare. The kind of place you feel like leaving at once, and you are waiting for the time of the departure. I succeeded to move to a room in the main building, and it was better. A little bit better. Everything is old, communist era fashion, and worse, all carpets are dirty, not by the fault of the cleaning ladies who make all they can, but...

The best area to stay in Stáj is directly within the village center of Stáj, specifically around the main square. This allows for convenient access to local amenities and a peaceful experience.

The village center of Stáj is characterized by its quiet, rural setting with traditional Czech architecture. The central square is the focal point, often featuring a small chapel or monument, and it's where you'll find any local shops or eateries. The surrounding streets are residential, offering a glimpse into local life.

For couples seeking a tranquil retreat, staying in Stáj's village center is ideal. The pace of life is slow, providing an opportunity for relaxation and enjoying the natural beauty of the Vysočina region. You can enjoy walks through the countryside directly from your accommodation.
