“The cottage was well located, well equipped and had some lovely little touches such as a bottle of wine on arrival, milk in the fridge, tea and coffee provided. Our children enjoyed meeting the various animals and the setting was very convenient and quiet. We were however disappointed to find on arrival that the previous occupants dog’s excrement hadn’t been cleared from the garden, a task we had to undertake before allowing our dog out (and there was more than one!). “First time staying here. Booked a last minute stay for 1 night with my husband and son. Communication through email was great, no complaints! Easy to get too and access the property. Inside was clean and cosy. Everything you needed in the bathroom. Kitchen was good, note there isn't an oven which caught us out (we didnt think to check). Enough plates/cutlery/mugs/glasses/pans. Very nice touch with the log fire and fairy lights on the ceiling. Sofa bed was comfy and lovely to cwtch on to watch……
