Sümela Monastery Tours

The included breakfast was a nice amenity—but that was about all. Upon arrival, we waited for our room to be cleaned; however, when we went inside there was no soap in our bathroom, the bathroom looked hastily cleaned, and our air-conditioning unit was leaking onto a desk that had electrical outlets connected underneath. There was also no hand towel in our bathroom and not enough towels for two people. We messaged the property in the morning after leaving for the day, requesting that the room be cleaned and requested new towels (having used them to dry the leaking air-conditioner) and we received no response. The location is nice and central, and our stay would have been pleasant were it not for the grimy hotel room and amenities that did not function. We felt safe traveling there as two foreign women, but will not be returning as guests.
