“Room was ok, bunch of hair in the bed, breakfast was a joke, we ordered it once and never use it again. Front of the property is a mud field in bad condition. Stuff were friendly and helpfull. ”

The lawn is like a golf course. - the bathroom ceiling had a drip when it rained. Over all I will book it again.”

“The room was beautiful with a stunning view from the bed with a huge bay window. Wifi was good, bed was comfortable, restaurant had great food. Staff was friendly. I wish there was a mini fridge. Cleanliness couuld have been better. There was spots on the stainless and mirrors. The windows on the breakfast room were very spotty, ruining awesome view. Imsure its hard to keep perfect with salt water waves but wiping them more often would help maybe. I really loved that you can use your card……

“Room was in great condition and the staff was attentive and friendly. I got the room with 2 queen beds, there were 2 couples on the trip, however upon arrival we were charge, we had to pay for the other couple on the trip. stating that it was only 2 people booked, but the room could accommodate 4. Also power went out a few times, being in the philippines, it was a hot night, difficult to sleep. and the driveway was an uphill climb, good thing we had a 4x4. Place was clean, and quiet. The……

“The room was clean and spacious, the Staff was fantastic in being both extremely kind and helpful. The restaurant was exceptionally good both the Breakfast and dinner entrees were excellent. I spent a few weeks at The Lighthouse and will absolutely recommend a stay. JB ”

“As a regular staying at Essentia in Dumaguete, Charos dormitel is a breath of fresh air !! Outstanding room, staff, restaurant and not so many guests (not crowded like Essentia) ! I agree with other travelers reviews now ! This was a 5 star experience for one night stay. Definitely will return in the near future😀 ”
