House B - This lovely 3 bedroom 2 full bath home is located on the Atlantic Ocean. There is always a gentle breeze on the deck facing the ocean with a sunrise view. Comfortably sleeping six guest with dockage available.This property has a sunrise view, grassy yard for grilling. The kids and pets can swim and play all day. Boating, fishing and ocean snorkeling from the property. There also is a pool. All linens and dishes are provided along with washer and dryer.

Short family get-away

My sister and friend from north Alabama and my youngest daughter and I decided on a last minute mini vacation. We found this little gem of a place while looking for places to stay in the Keys. Although it could use some TLC, we found the property to be clean, well-stocked and perfect for a short stay, some family time, rest and relaxation. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again,

Fishing trip

We stayed at the property January 5-9 for a friends fishing trip. The property was good, was clean and well equipped. It met our needs. There was plenty of hot water for 4 people. The neighborhood was very quiet and had a great view of the water.

Girlfiends Get-Away!

Beautiful view of the ocean. Loved the porch/deck. Great location. The house was the perfect size for the four of us. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would definitely return!

An older property but adequate and comfortable. Nice location with access to the water. Huge yard, quiet neighborhood...just needs a Iittle tlc.

Cudjoe Mini

We had an amazing vacation AGAIN at the Cudjoe Cottages. Check in was early and flawless. The place was immaculate and perfect size for my group. This was our 5th year staying there and we look forward to staying there again next year. Property Manager Jennifer was very easy and helpful to work with. 5 Star rating from this group!!!

Guys Chater Fishing Trip

House was comfortable! Our only disappointment was not having reasonable (comfortable) seating to be able to enjoy the awesome deck and view of the water!

Nice View Good Value

Good value for an active adult family of 5. It was our first time in the Keys. We did not hang at the property. We ventured out to see the sites daily. Responsive customer service.

Planned Vacation in Keys

House was centrally located allowing us to go anywhere we wanted easily. Slept 6 people comfortably. 4 Adults and 2 teenagers. Pool was easily accessible. Dock fishing was outstanding caught a variety of fishes (shark, barracuda and many others) .Great view from deck.

Cudjoe Zhuk stay

The location of the property was beautiful. The amenities were not updated. There were absolutely no lights outside near the pool areas, didn’t feel safe letting my teenager outside after dusk. The furniture was very old and uncomfortable. I had to cover the couch with blankets in order to sit on it. Outdoor furniture had no cushions and was scattered all over the deck. Chairs didn’t match the size of the table so we were unable to have dinner outside. Overall our stay was good because of the location and the size of the house, we all had privacy. For the price we paid, I feel like it should have been a lot more updated.

Nice property that needs updating

The Good The bad and The ugly. The good is it's extremely pet friendly my dog loved it. It's a great location right on the Atlantic side. We had a good time paddle boarding and fishing. It's nice being close to key West. The bad: it has a nice deep channel for docking your boat but it is extremely shallow getting in there and there is no channel. The Host could not tell me how to navigate my boat into the dock and we ran aground. At low tide there was approximately 12 in. Be very careful coming in and do not bring a large boat. The ugly: the house was dirty in every corner. Lots of rust and mold in the vents. The shower had low pressure and did not work well. Refrigerator did not cool down very fast we lost some food. Overall the property was great but there wasn't a whole lot of explanation of what pools to use we could have damaged our boat heavily there was no Mark channels or any real instructions on how to get your boat to the dock. And the house could be great if it was simply updated. It's a budget stay and keep that in mind

Great spot, but...

PRO: Response from Property Manager (Susan) Comfy beds. Good location for less $ than Key West. Pool Laundry Sunrise, sunset & night sky. Iguanas and birds. CON: Midges! Wife covered with a hundred bites. Not enough kitchenware for 6. One wineglass? Dirty corners, fridge top, HVAC closet No cable or satellite. "Update required" comments accurate. Outside lights not working. Nails sticking out on deck. Careful walking barefoot! Kitchen cupboard door askew. Not enough comfortable seating for 6 adults. Rummage sale leftovers in parking area? Some hangers and furniture for clothing? End table or two in living room?

So much potential!

The property is an incredible location and concept (parking, pools, docks, etc) but overall the entire space could use some TLC. I believe the property is for sale so maybe it will be turned around into something incredible! Communication with the owner was great! I read the reviews beforehand so I knew there were some concerns about the need for TLC. This was easy to overlook due to the ease of parking a trailer, having deep water dockage and the incredible views! From the standpoint on cleanliness, the was disappointing. There’s a cleaning fee and even an envelope left to leave a tip but I was blown away with how dirty the unit was. There was trash left downstairs and the entire house could use a good sweep and mop. The sheets and towels were clean at least! Regardless, we had a great time! The property has so much potential and I’d be willing to see what’s been done next year to come back.

Keys quiet getaway

We got there about dark and were a bit concerned initially. the lower level was kind of cluttered and the lighting wasnt very good. Once we found the stairs and the motion activated lights and got inside, everything was better. The queen bed needs a new mattress and it was COLD in the house that first night with no available extra bedding. The towels were sufficient but need to be upgraded. Although we had 6 people there was not enough flatware for 6. We never found any pot holders either. The rest of the kitchen was great; the oven and gas range worked well (although it did set off the fire alarm with first use). The grill wasn't workable; there was no propane tank and we weren't sure if the hoses and connectors would work so we improvised and used charcoal. A few more easy chairs (at least enough seating for 6) would be ideal. BUT it worked out well. The view is amazing and it is quiet and peaceful. All in all, the issues above were minor and all 6 of us enjoyed our time here immensely.

Maintenance needed

The view was beautiful, the location was great. With some basic maintenance this would be an excellent place to stay. We would stay here again and hope this property is available when we want to return. The beds in 2 of the rooms were very comfortable but will need replaced in the near future. The twin beds were not very comfortable. Biggest complaint was the air conditioning couldn’t be turned down below 75 or it would freeze up. With the humidity a few nights was uncomfortable sleeping. This is something that definitely needs fixed. The shower doors in the master bathroom need replaced/repaired they would not open or close properly. The stool in the master bathroom needs reset it was wobbly. The window in the master bedroom is cracked and just has tape over the cracks. Several of the chairs on the outside deck are cracked and unsafe to sit in. Some of the boards need replaced on the upper deck and gutters need to be added to the roof. The area under the house could be a great place to hang out if it was cleaned up. We were told by another visitor that this whole complex is for sale and that is the reason for the lack of maintenance.

Welcome to the tropics

Great places in these cottages with a sweet view and a cool pool. Right off Oversees Hwy, so you may easily hit the road to multiple destinations throughout the Keys. I totally dig it here.
