WIFi and cable TV are readily available in your room. The Red Barn Inn is a beautiful and iconic 10 acre farm located in the heart of Deep Creek Lake. Established in the early 1800's, the Harvey Farm was a dairy farm for more than a century, changing to a potato farm in the 1900's, providing potatoes to Snyder's of Hanover. In 2002, the 10,000 sq foot barn was transformed into a classic, rustic, but elegant wedding and events venue and the inn itself was created to host the entire wedding party for a weekend of celebration. After many years of happy use, the 10 bedroom inn was renovated from top to bottom this year and every room was professionally decorated in the modern farmhouse style. Love shiplap? It is EVERYWHERE! All 10 bedrooms feature king size beds, private bathrooms, gas fireplaces with barn beam mantles, and cable television. They were designed for a comfortable and calm experience and each and every one is different. A large gas fireplace greets you as you enter the front door into the shared great room. There are multiple spaces to read, chat, or watch a movie and a full kitchen for meal preparation. Are you planning a wonderful family meal? The great room has a dining table large enough to share with all of your favorite people. The outside is expansive! Fields to wander through, a stocked pond to fish in, and a huge space for front porch sitting! Use our huge red barn as the perfect photo backdrop. Slide down the sledding hill or create the perfect s'more fireside under a 300 year old tree.
