Only the wood furniture in our room looked worn, which was OK with us. Everything else seemed to be brand new and everything was clean. The reason for giving 4 stars rather than 5 is that the room was quite small. We had a very nice King sized bed--which is what I reserved--but I'm sure that our room wasn't built with such a big bed in mind. It was difficult to figure out how to lay out our suitcases, which we usually prefer to put on the floor, rather than on the bed. But we managed, and the bathroom was plenty big and quite nice. My first night, the police pounded on all the doors at 1:30 am b/c they said they got a 911 distress call from the property. The WiFi was easy to access. Young girl was very nice & able to help with making sure we had a room. Room, musky smell, bathroom bugs & hair on floor. Bed ok, pillows flat. My tv and remote did not work properly. Half the channels were out and the remote didn't change stations properly. Television is my thing. I hate that the main stations that I watch didn't have any sound. I told the owner and they tried to switch me to the room next door but it had the same issues. The room was so much smaller than what I'm accustomed to staying in. The whole place was rundown. There was no bolt lock on the door. The check in person was very nice. The room smelled terribly musty when I went in. There were small air fresheners but it wasn't helping too much. Took a while to get the TV on but had to unplug to turn it off. All the outlets had older model extension cords with no safety components on them. One of the bedside lamps had to be unplugged to turn off.
