We liked the view it was fantastic. The bed was very comfy, Beautiful high ceilings, the breakfast on the rooftop was very nice. Convenient access to a swimming platform just outside the hotel, It was magical to swim in the Aegean. The wifi was terrible, dropped out every 20 seconds. Had to ask for our Nespresso pods, only one small bottle of water on day two. No corkscrew or wine glasses in the room. When we arrived there was a bowl with sweets but they were taken away before we could partake. The AC unit was loud even on the low setting. The toilet seat was a very cheap. Beautiful historic hotel but quite a few drawbacks as well.

Nice property within walking distance to everything - center, port, restaurants, shopping. Great service from the front desk to the two servers serving breakfast every morning. Prices reasonable. Highly recommend.

Overall the customer service and location were great. However, the breakfast included in the price was average for a 4 star hotel. Also the room was in the first floor and it was very noisy. Good experience with no issues overall.

Location and view are unmatched. A favourite.

If you get a sea-view room the location is just spectacular. Room is good but quite basic and the decor is charming and a bit eccentric. Note no coffee faciltites in room but I think you can order coffee. We asked for ice and they brought us ice. Fridge in room is decent. The staff are very lovely and knowledgeable and Syros is really great. Ermoupoli is very special and this hotel is a really lovely place. Do go for a swim!

The views from the hotel are breathtaking! The location is perfect for enjoying all of Syros, especially Asteria Beach. If you want loungers at Asteria, reserve in advance. We had two sea view rooms in the historic building for three nights. The staff was friendly and always helpful. The bar was great for drinks before going to dinner and the breakfast each morning was delicious. The mattresses were stiff, which is the only minor complaint. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel with historic charm! We stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony facing the sea & I kept telling my husband the entire trip that we have arguably the best view on the island from our room! You are close to all of the action near the port & square, but also far enough removed that it feels like a more relaxing part of the city center. I would definitely stay here again!

The property sits on a cliff looking over the sea and the views are breathtaking. They offer breakfast service on a rooftop patio with extraordinary views as well. It is an old but elegant property and the rooms have a nice victorian charm. If you can, try to get a room with a small terrace and full sea view. The location is very close to the restaurants and shops of Ermoupoli, yet there is a walkable hill to negotiate where the hotel is located.

Unique grand hotel archiecture unlike anything we encountered in other accommation on offer on our Greek islands trip. It was a treat staying here, good value too, with a wonderful, imaginative breakfast buffet atop the hotel where the views of sea and other classical buildings in this locale were wonderful. Money has been spent on a good sleep for guest with blackout- type curtains, triple (?)glazing and luxe beds- SO comfy. Staff were helpful and resourceful esp re our local travel enquiries.

Beautiful hotel in every sense and in the best location one can imagine in Ermoupolis. Thank you for making my holiday memorable. The only issue I had was that there were no partitions between the small balcony spaces and that was a shame in terms of enjoyment. I hope the hotel addresses this in future.

Nice but improve

Nice place to stay, up in the city near a church, with sea view. But the welcoming is not warm at all, so that I would recommend to stay in another place in Syros. Belle vue imprenable sur la mer, chambre ok, mais l'accueil reste à améliorer.
