Dyed concrete floors, hand-hewn wood banisters and cabinetry, and comfortable, “mountain chic” furnishings add to the ambiance of this pet-friendly home that can accommodate up to 12 guests in comfort. The house features a kitchen well-equipped for preparing meals for your large group - lots of workspace, prep island with a second sink, and a dedicated dining area that will serve all of your guests at one seating. The living space is larger than life with a comfy seat for each guest to cozy up by the fireplace and stone hearth on chilly alpine mornings. Guests can access the back patio which features a stargazing fire pit, gas grill, outdoor seating, and extra large hot tub to soak your cares away after a long day of outdoor adventure. The main level master bedroom has a king sized bed and the attached bathroom is wheelchair accessible with a spacious, colorful slate tiled shower. Upstairs there are two private bedrooms, one with a queen and one with a king bed. The upstairs “Man Cave” has two twin over twin bunkbeds and doubles as a game lounge with card table, pool table, Wii, and big screen television. The upstairs open loft also has a queen bed, and there is a full bathroom with hallway access on this level as well. The house is located just five minutes from downtown McCall and five minutes from Payette National Forest backcountry. Nearby Ponderosa State Park has plenty of hiking and cycling trails and vistas to enjoy. Don't forget your clubs – the McCall Golf Club has three courses and 27 holes waiting to be played a 5 minute drive away. Brundage Mountain's powder awaits you in the winter, and the lifts are less than a 30 minute drive to the north. The property features a large driveway that can comfortably accommodate trailers, sled decks, boats, etc. so don't forget your toys! Any time of year, Elk Ridge make a great home base to bring your family and friends together! Guests may sign into their own streaming services to watch TV. Street parking is prohibited – guests must park all vehicles in the garage or driveway. This home has a two night minimum stay, but some date ranges require a 3 or 4 night stay. Make yourself at home, but please be respectful of locked cupboards and doors that indicate a private space. All of our properties have self-check in via keyless entry or lockbox. Guest access codes and check in information will be sent to guests one week prior to arrival. Parties and events are NOT allowed at this property. Check in is any time after 4PM. Check out is at 10AM. The guest renting this home must be an adult 25 years or older and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reservation period. This property is subject to all City of McCall ordinances, including those specific to noise levels, occupancy, and safety. We had seven in our party and there was plenty of space for more - so we didn’t feel like we didn’t have room to spread out. We booked all our meals at the rental and it had everything we needed. I had brought my griddle but didn’t need to bring it- one was supplied. The outdoor space way dry - but at 100 degree temperatures everything is dry. Our family had a great time! The Wee was a huge hit with everyone. Elk Ridge was great, with the perfect set up, for our families to spend Easter weekend together. The kids loved the game room with the bunk beds, pool table and Wii! The common area of the house was nice and open for all of us to be able to still be together (see and hear each other) while cooking, eating or sitting in the living room. My only disappointment was that the hot tub had a film/sludge (and other debris) that circulated in the water when the jets are running. We were only able to see it when it was daylight…and it basically prevented the adults from enjoying it, which was a bummer. I’m sure it just needs a good cleaning. Otherwise, the cleanliness of the house was great! Also, they have a great supply of cookware (pots, pans, mixing bowls, baking dishes, larger serving dishes/platters, etc.), small appliances (toaster, crock pot, griddle, electric mixer) and regular dishes and utensils. Plenty of towels (including outdoor towels for the hot tub), linens, pillows and extra blankets. We found everything we needed while there!
