We had a lovely stay at Barceló Tanger with our family. The hotel is in a great location with beautiful sea views, and the rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. A great option for families visiting Tangier, and we would happily stay here again.

The hotel is well located and the staff is very courteous. Rooms were clean and I recommend having the sea view with balcony. Side note, I will advise against visiting Tangier in during peak season from mid July to end of August. Hard to enjoy your vacation when you are stuck in traffic for an hour to drive a couple of miles.

Hands down one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at! The room was very spacious, stunning, and clean! The staff were very helpful and friendly. Most things are walkable and you’re right along the coast. Highly recommend if you’re staying in Tangier!

This hotel is in a premium location, walking distance from the port and marina, and the area has an ample variety of restaurants. The staff were very nice and helpful, the breakfast buffet was good, and it was on the rooftop with a nice view of the shore.

5* looking hotel, with 2* service. Rooms dont seem to have double glazing windows so you can hear cars beeping till at least 4am, we had to ask for a room change it was so bad. Second room was awful, smelt of damp. Bathroom door was jammed 3 times during our stay and all maintenance did was a quick fix. My sister was stuck in the bathroom one occasion as handle came off which was originally glued as we could see, lucky I was able to rescue her after some time. House keeping was poor, they dont really clean the rooms daily so expect dust and debris on floor to build up during stay. They take towels early in the day and return so many hours later so your without a towel when you need it. They dont replenish amenities so expect to request each time. Reception staff looks gormles and miserable and very slow to assit. Only highlight was breakfast, which was plentiful and great staff were amazing at breakfast, they should consiider replacing the recoection desk staff with them Here’s a polished version that keeps the review firm, clear, and credible: ⭐⭐ 5-star hotel with 2-star service On the surface, this looks like a 5-star hotel, but unfortunately the service and room standards were closer to 2 stars. Our first room had very poor sound insulation. It appeared the windows were not double-glazed, meaning we could hear cars beeping outside until at least 4am. It was so bad that we had to request a room change. Unfortunately, the second room had its own problems. It smelled s
