The staff speak English but there understanding is limited. We booked a two nice stay and told them we needed a 4 am shuttle on morning #2 (Tuesday). We were very tired and went to bed only to be awoken at 4am wondering why weren't were leaving. THIS WAS AFTER 1 NIGHT! WHY WOULD WE BOOK TWO NIGHTS AND LEAVE AFTER 1???????? Otherwise the place is very nice and the food is great. The gym is not much, the electric equipment (treadmill, elipical,etc) all had the power cords cut off. Our room was nice and quiet, always clean and well looked after. We tended to use the pool area mostly during the day - which was lovely and comfortable with a great drinks service. Food was good and varied throughout our stay - visit the Jikan for a premium sushi experience - excellent. The most impressive thing for us was the Staff who were always so polite and happy and helpful every single day - they all made us feel very welcome. The staff were also great! The pool is nice but a little deep at 1.4m but I’m just short. They do need to do a better job of food safety and covering food from flies. If I didn’t make it right at buffet opening, everything was covered in bugs! Also it wasn’t clear enough that this was a no alcohol resort when booking (I don’t drink that much anyways) and I understand it’s Ramadan but other resorts still had activities and entertainment, this one was SILENT.
