“Really lovely family run pub and rooms. Food, service and staff were all excellent. The room was spotless and spacious with a great outdoor area to sit with a cuppa. Everything you need is here and a it's a great base to explore lots of local places of interest. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Could not fault and would definitely recommend.”

“My partner and me stayed during the first horrible heatwave in June, to get some respite in the AC that was featured in the amenities of the property. Not only was there AC in the room, but also in the pub/restaurant area! It was absolutely delightful - we struggled leaving! The staff were so friendly and attentive; nothing was too much trouble. We were given a flask of fresh milk to have with tea/coffee in the room, and some freshly baked cookies. I couldn’t get the shower to cool down, this……

“We stayed one night en route to Kingston Lacy. We were very impressed by the comfortable room and the welcoming staff. All the details were just right. The breakfast was also very nice.”

“Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much. We checked in very late and staff were still available to help. Breakfast was fantastic. Service was brilliant and again staff were really helpful. Room was nice. Suitable for our needs though could do with a freshen up, but clean and all the amenities we needed.”
