“A gorgeous little cabin in the granite belt region, perfect for a long weekend. The photos are super accurate. The log fire is cosy, as is the bath and big bed. Centrally located, perfect for checking out the town and region. Check-in process couldn't be easier! Wouldn't hesitate to stay again”

“Excellent location, great sized property for 4 single adults. Huge bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Fabulous hot water 😁. Only negatives were the garden could do with a trim and there were a lot of cobwebs on the windows/ frames. Bit creepy as I don’t like the thought of spiders darting about. Not that I saw one 🤔. Overall - very happy with the property.”

“This beautiful property exceeded my expectations, on top of the view the house was immaculate. This beautiful house had the fire place set and ready for us to light on arrival which along with great beds and fresh linen made it lovely and warm for our stay. With some amazing meals in the local restaurants we had the perfect winter getaway. Fully recommend this property for your next adventure.”

“This is an interesting, clean property close to everything. You just cannot fault it. Although I guess it could get a bit awkward with two couples as both beds are in the same room. A couple of more things, great soup at the courthouse cafe and Bad Manners is really good fun.”

“The staff is very friendly and food are prepared in refrigerator in advance. But the environment in house in not good. Many ants on dining table and bed. ”

“A old cottage adapted into a comfortable studio-style accommodation. Has an open fire which would be cosy in winter but creates a lingering smoky smell in the cottage (which moderates after you open up the doors and windows). Good value for money and very close to Girraween NP and a family friendly (newish) pub serving good food.”

“We stayed at this house for 5 nights over Christmas and would have stayed for longer if we could have. The house is in a peaceful, beautiful setting on a property shared by a couple of good-natured geese and some chickens, and having fresh eggs was a bonus. The large kitchen is well equipped and enabled us to cook a 3 course Christmas dinner for the family, which we enjoyed on the wrap-around verandah. Russell and Elisabeth are considerate hosts and they have put thought into this property to……

“It was peaceful & quiet but needed some maintenance done. The door to front verandah was to hard to slide & switch for bathroom heater was not working. Otherwise i was well equipped and right on the dam. We were there during the drought so it was not at its best. A nice stay for a couple of quiet nights. ”

“Stayed one night in a very pleasant cabin. Greeting was friendly and smooth check in. Free coffee available in communal area. Cabin was spotless and quite large with separate kitchen. Although close to main road and having road contractors as guests the area was quiet and road noise minimal. Golf Club about 1km away does great evening meals and very friendly. Great stay, no complaints.”
