“My partner and I stayed one night at this great place! After entering the main gate it was a little difficult to find but eventually we did. Parking is reasonable. The view from their main amenities area is fantastic. We did not use any of the amenities but it all seemed like a great offering. Very nice, easy access to the lagoon which is beautiful to experience. The room itself was just enough space for the 2 of us, with a very comfortable bed and great shower. The property owner greeted us……

The only disappointment we had was the pool which is very small and in a public area without guest lounging space so we felt uncomfortable to use it. The breakfast was fantastic and great value as it was included and the breakfast restaurant area is beautiful, again with lovely views however service was very slow. ”

“It is a magnificent property with great facilities. Well located enough. But Plattenberg is a plain soulless residential seaside town. No quality in terms of restaurants. The property is closed to shops, cafés and beach (if you don’t mind the very steep hike back). ”

“Self catering room in cottage pie needs a renovation . The windows lead onto the street,so this would make it a security issue if one would like to sit outside. The bedroom is dark and gloomy the bathroom had a broken light. The overall facilities and the staff were very good ”

“Nice big apartment a short walk to the beach and in a peaceful location. Not too far from a Spar, restaurant, pharmacy and petrol station. You need to drive though. A little maintenance required as one of the hotplates didn't work.”
