Super friendly and lets you feed the horses, really cool experience and just nice people! Top notch French food and highly recommend, especially if you’re into aviation!”

“Le village de Marcilly est situé dans la campagne à une vingtaine de km de Pouilly en Auxois. Une maison ancienne rénovée. Notre accueil a été agréable, la personne responsable de la chambre d'hôte nous accueilli et nous a conviés à prendre un rafraîchissement. Au matin, nous avons pris le petit déjeuner dans la véranda qui donne sur un jardin agréable. Nous avons longuement échangé avec le propriétaire des lieux.”

“When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English). The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway. The only restaurant in Salives was unable……
