Diocletian’s Palace is home to some of the most remarkable Roman ruins on earth. Once a retirement home for a powerful emperor, this ancient fortress has evolved into Split’s old town. Kašuni Beach is an attractive beach destination for swimming and sunbathing. More peaceful and rural in feel than Split’s main Bačvice Beach, it is a good place to enjoy a relaxing day out. Bask in the sun and lounge away an afternoon on its tranquil shores.
