Walking distance to all the sites but tucked away so the room was completely quiet at night.

"We are travelling around Vietnam and have stayed in many hotels. THIS IS THE BEST ONE YET! 10/10. Beautiful rooms: free drinks (Coke Zero) in mini bar and the 2 pools were so luxurious! Staff wonderful in the check in area and the doormen so polite. A good location: near river & on the edge of tourist area/only 10 min walk in a straight line to the busy touristy stuff.
The cleaning staff were a bit noisy at 8 am in the hallway today (we had wanted a lie in!). Got free chocs last night, however, as they did their turn down service!
Breakfast was every food u could want! Staff there great/so hard working!
My only disappointment was we had no balcony and it would have been useful to dry our swimming costumes on one after a swim just before we left. But that was Hotels.com at fault, as I showed the receptionist my phone app saying we should have a balcony and she said none of the rooms for 2 had balconies so it was not the hotel who had made that wrong statement.
