View of river, with deck was nice. The building is old...older than it looks in pictures. Some of the furnishing in room looked pretty garage sale like. Room is small. Toilet is small and low. 2 sinks were nice, and standup shower, no bath. Located at one end of the Main Street of Bellaire, easy walk to cute shops and restaurants. Extremely friendly staff on site. Quaint lobby with games and a pool table. Would be a wonderful place to stay with family. I asked for change to get a pop from machine that did not take dollars. it was 12:30 at night and I was told that "if she knew what time it was when I called, she would have not come down and I needed to be quiet" even the guest that are regulars were rude to me and came and asked who we were when I was parked outside in the driveway. I guess I wont book through hotel .com for any hotels moving forward. Had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up to check us in, then they had our reservation date for the next day, so we didn't get the room we paid for.
