"fully furnished kitchen with coffee pot stove refrigerator stove table 4 chairs living room is very nice and comfortable. bathroom is small but absolutely functional. towels shampoo, cream rinse and body soap is all supplied. The porch has two seating areas with a high top table 4 chairs then another seating area with 2 long seating and chairs around a small gas fire pit. (you would need to bring your own propane) the only thing I would mention is that this is not really a two bedroom. off the kitchen is a very small room with a bed, no room for a dresser and the door cant even open completely because of the bed in the way. you have to go through this room to get to the back bedroom which is very nice and has a sliding door to the porch. but there is no door separating the two rooms. Also no curtains on the slider in the kitchen, living room bay window or the small bedroom. It is a very nice location for a couple or small family. It would be awkward for 2 couples. but overall a very nice stay. And the owner is very responsive; quick to reply. We enjoyed our stay."
"My stay was great. The staff were willing to help in any way. My check-in was fast and easy. Our room was neat and tidy, the hallway carpet was dated but it was clean and the decorations were added to help offset that. The front lobby was decorated warmly and tastefully. Breakfast was fair, selection was limited but more than adequate. We had to ask for restocking help but it was done quickly and throughly. The eating area was pretty cramped, it needed a bigger room. The pool was warm and clean and the hot tub was also clean and hot. I even saw an employee testing the pool water in the early morning making sure the water was safe for swimming. Overall, I would definitely stay there again"

"This house had great views of the lake, beautiful and peaceful. You can fish right off the dock and catch a variety of fish. The beach was somewhat shallow but it got deep enough for swimming which was perfect for our 6 year old. Hosts were very helpful and responded immediately to any questions we had. We definitely plan on staying here again."
"We had a lovely get-away from the hustle and bustle of city-life at this cottage on Rose Lake. The owners were friendly and accommodating and it was a great spot to relax, swim, star gaze, and have camp-fires. Thanks for everythign!"

"We had a fantastic time at the property. Stayed for a week with young adult kids and grandma. Home, especially kitchen, was amazingly well stocked: air fryer, electric skillet, electric kettle, coffee maker, every pot/pan/utensil you could want. Beds were nice, plenty of space for our group. Only thing to keep in mind of accessibility to lake for small kids or anyone with mobility issues. It’s a long, hilly walk to the lake from the house. "

Staff was exceptional! Very helpful even with restaurant ideas and locations. Everything was very smooth.

"We've stayed at Two Lakes Lodge 5 years and love the place and setting. It's well- equipped and our 1o adults and 11 kids fit well. It would be great to have another bathroom and, occasionally, a/c. but overall, it's a great place to gather and spend the week"

"Beautifully decorated and very clean! We were visiting family that had rented a cabin on Putnam Lake. The 2 Cedars cabin was so much nicer than theirs. There isn't any wifi but that just meant we had to "unplug", which was probably a good thing!"

" We had a wonderful weekend stay at this cozy and beautifully maintained home in Cadillac. The space was clean, welcoming, and truly felt like a home away from home. Every amenity we could have needed was thoughtfully provided — from the well-stocked kitchen to the comfy beds and charming décor. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge.The only small hiccup we experienced was with communication ahead of our arrival. The phone number listed wasn’t accurate, and we didn’t receive a response through the VRBO app until VRBO support stepped in to help us connect. That said, once we were in, everything was fantastic — and we would absolutely stay here again.Just a gentle suggestion for the hosts: double-check that contact information is current and messages through the app are being monitored, especially as check-in approaches. Otherwise, this is a solid 9 out of 10 — a lovely property we’d happily recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable getaway!"
"Our host Margaret was awesome, showed up to greet us upon check in. The cottage had plenty of room for sleeping, several spaces outdoors to enjoy. The lake is beautiful, sandy & clean. We loved listening to the loons. We tubed, waterskied, surfed & fished. We also went to a few restaurants by boat that we were able to have dinner & watch the sunset. Would definitely recommend & will be back again!!!"
"We loved our time here.We had a great week of fishing, making fires, grilling good food, and spending time together without the noise of the world for just a little while. The area is the just the right amount of ‘remote’. Relaxing around the fire overlooking and listening to the running river was a peak experience. The cabin itself just felt instantly cozy and familiar, almost like experiencing nostalgia for a place we’ve never been. One of the nights got pretty rainy, so we got to enjoy the huge DVD collection as well. Kitchen is well stocked, everything was clean.The owner Jim was friendly and communicative, offering information about the area for fishing, shopping and any questions we had about the property.Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We look forward to our next trip here."
"Very nice property with everything you need for a fun family vacation… except a TV. But that was a bonus! We secretly brought a TV and never told anyone. This lead to everyone spending quality family time together. We had a large group and everyone had plenty of room to sleep. Hosts were very responsive and attentive to the questions we had throughout the weekend. Looking at next year’s calendar to see about returning with our group plus a few more. We wanted to ditch the city to better connect with each other and nature, which we did ALL weekend. From watching the sun rise while drinking coffee on the deck… to traversing the Muskegon River in our kayaks… to grilling out for dinner and laughing around the fire pit, there was no shortage of peace and enjoyment. The property is well-maintained, supplies are aplenty, and the neighbors are very kind. This property is an affordable, hidden gem that won’t disappoint!"
