Location
This beautiful holiday home with a panoramic view of Lake Lugano is located above the medieval village of DRANO, the district of Valsolda (CO) and near Porlezza. The small, historic village lies on the southern slope of Lake Lugano with an unobstructed view. (approx. 440 m above sea level)

Property
The villetta is detached and ideal for up to four guests. It is ideal for holidaymakers looking for peace and quiet and active holidaymakers who go on hiking and biking tours or pursue other leisure activities from there.

Equipment
This pretty holiday home is of high quality, stylish and lovingly furnished, with a living-dining area and a sleeping area with a French double bed.
In the living area, which is separated from the sleeping area by a heavy curtain, there is a pull-out leather couch (120x190 cm) that can be used as a double bed. The washbasin, shower and toilet are integrated in the spacious bathroom.
In the kitchenette with granite work surface, a ceramic plate with four burners is integrated as well as a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. The comforts of the villetta include the secretary for paperwork, Wi-Fi, and TV.
On the property there is a beautiful community pool with stairs. It should be noted that a maximum of four other people can use the pool.
The sunny terrace is furnished with a large parasol. The lawn is suitable as a sunbathing area.

We had a lovely week at this property. Luca was very welcoming when we arrived. The place was very much as described, the shared pool was nice and the views spectacular. We found a nearby waterfall and good walking routes. Would definitely come again.

1 person, 1 pet, 4 nights. As many people have commented views and garden (including the pool) of the property were sensational and very well taken care of. Also, Luca - the property manager - was very welcoming and super helpful. Grazie, Luca! Other positives are that shower works nicely and you have hot water as much as you want and Wi-Fi works well, too. Also, this place is very quiet at night and I found wonderful hikes in the area. Also, the nearby village Castello is a must to visit. Just 5 min drive a way. A couple of things that I would like to mention, though: On this property there are two houses. You share the pool and the entrance goes thru your garden. So, if you are having a lunch on your terrace, you can greet all people walking thru to the other house. Also, your and their parking spaces are in front of half of your windows. Same applies to the pool, as it is in your neighbour's garden. So not much privacy, if both houses are occupied at the same time. Second thing that was a bit of a surprise was the kitchen. It is tiny. No oven, only microwave, no preparation space. No space where to put your foodstuff, either. Very old, barely functioning herd and the fridge on the floor level will kick the bucket any day. So, no cooking even for one person. Not sure why the drawers were full of very large pots and pans as you can't use them. Also, the bathroom is super small as is the indoor 'dining table'. It is rather a 2-person breakfast counter. Ah, and the TV has only German channels - 50 of them and that's it. No CNN, no BBC - or at least I did not find them. So, all in all a bit mixed feelings about my stay and such a pity that this gorgeous location has these issues.

Anreise und Buchung hat reibungslos geklappt. Wir sind vom Verwalter Luca freundlich empfangen worden. Er hat uns alles gezeigt und hat uns einige Tipps für die nähere Umgebung gegeben. Das Ambiente und der Ausblick sind wahrlich ein Traum! Auch unser hund hat sich total wohlgefühlt, konnte sich auf dem Gelände frei bewegen, da alles eingezäunt ist und durfte auch den pool benutzen. Leider ist in der kleineren Wohnung kein Backofen vorhanden und sollte die zweite Wohnung auch besetzt sein, hat man einen großen Gemeinschaftsgarten. Zu unserem Glück waren wir ganz alleine und es war eine super entspannende Woche

Ein Traum zur Entspannung
Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in dieser schönen Umgebung verbringen dürfen. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber und entspricht vollkommen den Abbildungen. Auch der Pool war bei Temperaturen von über 30° eine tolle Erfrischung und wurde regelmäßig gereinigt. Luca, als sehr netter Verwalter, war jederzeit erreichbar und behilflich, zum Beispiel beim reservieren von Tischen in Restaurants. Nochmals vielen Dank für alles!

Super tolles Ferienhaus
Wir wurden durch Luca super nett Empfangen und durch die Anlage und das Haus geführt. Alles sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern nur der Ausblick ist in Echt noch viel schöner. Wir hatten hier wunderschöne 7 Tage in traumhafter Umgebung. Die Anlage wird durch Luca betreut und Top gepflegt. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen.

Verstecktes Paradies
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wir konnten in sehr ruhiger Umgebung die Seele baumeln lassen. Der Ausblick vom Grundstück auf den Luganer See ist wunderschön und einzigartig. Die Anlage und das Ferienhaus sind sehr gepflegt. Der Pool wird täglich gereinigt. Lucca und sein Papa kümmern sich hervorragend um das Anwesens und die beiden Häuser und vor allem um ihre Gäste. Sie sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch unser Hund hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt. Optimal ist, dass das Grundstück eingezäunt ist. Gerne kommen wir wieder und können das Ferienhaus wärmstens empfehlen.

Gerne wieder!
Wir waren mit unserer kleine Tochter und unserem Hund für eine Woche in der Ferienunterkunft! Hat für uns gereicht, aber für eine grössere Familie wird es dann schon eng.. Gerade wenn man sich dort auch selbst verpflegen möchte. Es war alles wie beschrieben und wir konnten uns einfach erholen! Es gab kurzzeitig ein kleines Problem mit dem Filter des Pools, aber Luca hat schnell geholfen! Er gibt sich sehr viel Mühe und ist sehr flexibel! Danke nochmals dafür! Hat wirklich Spass gemacht! Ist zu empfehlen! Ein einziger kleiner Wunsch für die Zukunft: vielleicht mal den in die Jahre gekommenen Kühlschrank und Herd austauschen.. wenn man "richtig" Kochen möchte, ist das nichts.. eine Platte geht sofort auf Stufe 10 und bei einer anderen Platte funktioniert das Lämpchen nicht mehr .. die Platte ist an, man sieht es aber nicht... Und wenn wir es nicht übersehen haben, steht bei der Ausstattung in der Beschreibung die Mikrowelle noch nicht mit drin.. es hätte aber eine ;-) Nichtsdestotrotz würden wir dieses Objekt wieder buchen bzw. werden es mit Sicherheit nochmals buchen!

Einfach nur traumhaft schön 🤩
Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in dieser Villa. Vom check in bis zum check out bewerte ich diese Unterkunft mit einer glatten eins 👍👍👍. Wir wurden ganz lieb von Luca (er kümmert sich um das Anwesen und wohnt nebenan) in Empfang genommen. Die Wohnung haben wir tip top sauber vorgefunden. Auch die Gartenanlage ist mit sehr viel Herzblut gestaltet und toll gepflegt. Der Ausblick lässt sich eigentlich gar nicht in Worte fassen. Ruhige Lage, trotzdem zentral gelegen um einzukaufen oder Ausflüge zu unternehmen. Wir hatten unseren Hund auch mit an Bord, der sich frei bewegen konnte, da das Anwesen komplett eingegrenzt ist. Großes Glück hatten wir auch mit unseren Nachbarn auf dem gemeinsamen Grundstück. Eine nette Familie aus Belgien, ebenfalls mit Hund angereist. Die beiden hatten ihren Spaß. Ich kann dieses Haus nur mit 100 % weiterempfehlen und bedanke mich bei Günter (Besitzer des Anwesens) und Luca für diese schöne Zeit. Alles richtig gemacht 👌

Séjour superbe !!
Notre séjour a été très agréable. La vue est exceptionnelle et le cadre très calme et reposant. Luca qui nous a accueilli a été formidable. D une grande gentillesse et toujours disponible au cours du séjour pour la moindre question sur la location ou sur les alentours. Nous recommandons cette location dans laquelle nous avons passé un très bon moment. Peut être amélioré : la pose de volets dans la location et le petit frigo qui commence à vieillir.

Wunderschöne Urlaubstage!
Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und sind auch nur kurz mal zum Baden nach San Mamete gelaufen (45min runter und 45min wieder hoch) oder mit dem Auto gefahren. Ein Auto ist schon notwendig und die Aussicht ein Traum! Wir kommen gern wieder - Vielen Dank auch an Luca !

Ein traumhaftes Ambiente einer kleinen Villa inmitten stiller, ewiger Bergnatur und Seenvielfalt
Diese kleine Villa namens „Beatrice“ benachbart zu einer etwas größeren Villa auf gleichem Grundstück, bietet mehr, als man sich zu erträumen vermag. Dort oben angekommen eröffnet sich ein Blick über das weite Tal, in welchem sich der Luganosee in Richtung Westen, Lugano, erstreckt. Dieser Anblick ist so faszinierend, dass man geradezu überwältigt und zutiefst berührt ist. Wundervoll und angemessen, den Blick nicht störend, ist der Garten um die Villen gestaltet – man fragt sich, wer dieses glückliche Händchen hatte – lachsrot blühende Rosen, weiß und tiefrot blühender Oleander, tiefviolett blühende Clematis, weiß blühende Stechpalmen und sehr gepflegte Palmen säumen die Sicht übers Tal. Gepflegte grüne Wiesen, Terrassen und ein zum Baden einladender, immer sauberer Pool erzeugen eine Wohlfühlstimmung. Ein Ort der Stille, selbst anmutig klingen die melancholischen Melodien der Glocken der umliegenden vier Kirchtürme, besonders Sonnabends und Sonntags. Gleichsam der Bergwelt strahlt dieser Ort das Gefühl der Ewigkeit, Unberührbarkeit aus. Blickt man in Richtung Lugano am Berghang entlang, entdeckt man auf einem Felsvorsprung den ältesten Teil von Valsolda, ein nahezu mittelalterliches architektonisches Ensemble. Meine Freundin und ich erlebten 10 Tage im Juni dort, nutzten die Reise, um auf den Spuren Hermann Hesses zu wandern, besuchten das Museo Hermann Hesse und seine letzte Wohnstätte im zwölf Kilometer entfernten Montagnola, gingen so manchen seiner Wege. Eine Traumreise nach St. Moritz über den Maloja Pass und Sils, bekannt durch die Heilstätte Sils Maria, wo u.a. sich auch Hermann Hesse kurieren ließ, ist ebenso empfehlenswert. Die Seen Comersee, Luganosee und Lago Maggiore liegen dicht beieinander, so dass man sie in wenigen Fahrminuten erreicht. Die Lage der Villa in Valsolda liegt für Ausflüge in die südlichen Alpen und in nördliche Regionen Italiens ideal. Selbst in Mailand ist man in eineinhalb Stunden Fahrzeit. Der Komfort der kleinen Villa, wie auch der benachbarten größeren erfüllt alle Ansprüche, sei denn, man ist von Natursteinbädern und Parkettfußböden und elektronischen Firlefanz und modischem Schnickschnack verwöhnt, wobei elektronisches Grundstückstor und elektronisch steuerbare Sonnenmarkisen vorhanden sind. Die Ausstattung entspricht der traditionellen Bauweise dieser zauberhaften Gegend. Ganz herzliche Dank an Luca und seine Eltern für die fürsorgliche Betreuung, ganz herzlichen Dank für die Vermietung. Ein Traum.

Wundervoller Kurzurlaub
Die Villeta selbst als auch die Lage sind um ein Vielfaches schöner, als auf den bereits beeindruckenden Fotos im Inserat selbst zu sehen. Die Aussicht, die Ruhe, der gepflegte Garten, der Pool sowie der Gastgeber sind überragend. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder!

Fantastico!
Wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub! Die Liegenschaft, der Pool, der Ausblick waren genial und die umliegende Ruhe haben wir sehr genossen. Die absolute Krönung war die Vor-Ort-Beträuung durch Luca (mille Grazie) und der sehr nette Kontakt mit dem Besitzer. Wir, inklusiv unseren Eltern, können uns eine Rückkehr mehr als Vorstellen.

Super Service toller Blick
Vor Ort eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Begrüssung durch Luca, der das Objekt und die Gäste vor Ort betreut. An ihn und seine Eltern, die uns sogar gelegentlich sehr liebevoll mit froschem Obst versorgt haben und für alle Dinge sofort Lösungen hatten möchten wir besonderen Dank richten. Bravo Luca...!!! 5* plus. Pool wird von Luca sehr gepflegt...auch Rasen und Beete. Alles sehr sauber. Der Blick aus dem Garten ist atemberaubend schön. Die Küche könnte mal erneuert werden, Kühlschrank ist schlapp und Herd und Heisswasser zum Spülen...na ja...auch ein paar neue Töpfe und Pfannen nd Scharfe Messer, mehr Gläser und Schlüsseln wären gut.Grade wenn 4 Personen wie wir...dann ist das alles sehr knapp. Sonst alles wie dargestellt. Wir waren alleine,. das Nachbarhaus war unvermietet, daher sehr entspannt. sollten aber beide Objekte besetzt werden dann rückt man sich schon sehr nahe, weil es nur eine Zufahrt und eine zusammengeführte Eingangssituation gibt. Der Ort ist ruhig und etwas abgelegen....das Auto ist zwingend täglich zu bewegen...wegen Einkauf , Bäcker, Seebaden...etc. Den steilen Berg schafft man nicht mal eben mit dem Fahrrad....zumal bergab perfekte und leistungsstarke Bremsen nötig sind... Badestellen am See sind nur schwer zu finden und daher ist der Pool Gold wert. Man muss motorisiert unbedingt beweglich sein. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt...und würden das Objekt wieder mieten.

Wunderschöner, idyllischer Ort
Wunderschönes, gepflegtes Grundstück mit tollem Pool und traumhaftem Ausblick über den See, eigene Terrasse, geräumiges Haus, alles was man braucht :) Da bleiben kaum Wünsche offen, nur einen Verbesserungsvorschlag hätte ich: Mückengitter wären toll, damit man nachts die Fenster offen lassen kann, sonst wird es sehr warm.

Nice location with beautiful views. The appartment is a glorified flat. Contrary to the description, there is only one bedroom (not two) without separative door. Ideal for a couple.

perfect view but only for two persons
The view iwas perfect as it is shown on the photos and even better. The house however was not fully equiped. Although the description told us that there is room for four persons, actually there is room for only two persons. There is only one bed for two, and there is one couch for one person. The fourth person has to sleep is on a airbed (which you have to bring on your own!). Moreover, there was no WIFI / Wlan as described. Therefor the house did not meet our expectations. That is a pitty because the garden and sight is great.
