Welcome to Jackpine Cottage, a beautifully renovated four-season retreat that blends modern comfort with historic charm. Nearly every part of the cabin has been upgraded, with one special exception — the original rustic floors, reclaimed from David’s Store, a beloved local landmark that was demolished decades ago. The repurposed wood brings warmth and history to every step you take inside.
The cottage comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests, though it’s coziest for families or groups with children. Sleeping arrangements include two bedrooms with pull-out single beds tucked beneath a queen and double bed, plus a fold-out double sofa bed in the living area.
Step outside and relax in the year-round hot tub, the perfect way to unwind after a day on the trails, at the beach, cross country skiing, ice fishing or exploring Victoria Beach. Enjoy morning coffee or evening conversations in the screened-in front porch, surrounded by thoughtful landscaping that enhance privacy and the outdoor experience.
Located right on the edge of the vehicle-restricted area of Victoria Beach, you’ll have the rare convenience of driving right up to the cottage to park. From the back of the property, a scenic forest trail leads directly into the restricted area and onto Pine Road — perfect for peaceful walks and bike rides without vehicle traffic. In the winter, this same trail connects to miles of groomed ski paths.
Now offering cross-country ski rentals! We have a variety of sizes available, though supply is limited to start. If you let us know your needs in advance, we can have a set ready for you upon arrival. Rental rates are available upon request, and we’ve kept them affordable by offering quality used skis at about half the standard rates.
Victoria Beach offers endless activities year-round — from cross-country skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, tobogganing, and skating in the winter, to pristine white-sand beaches, playgrounds, community events, and local favorites like the Village Green Bakery in the summer — all just a 5–10 minute bike ride from the cottage.

Peaceful, Relaxing Getaway

This was our 2nd visit to this cozy cottage. With the hot tub and the peaceful surroundings it was just what we needed. The fall colors were beautiful on our hikes. We will definitely be back again.

Cozy little cabin

We rented both cabins on this property so mostly used it for the extra bedrooms, but this one would be fine for a smaller group all on its own. Great experience and hosts answer questions within minutes.

Great Cottage

This cottage served us well this year. It actually feels larger than the photos. A newly renovated kitchen and bathroom are very nice additions. The owners are making further improvements and it'll be interesting to see what it looks like in another year. Bring your bikes! Very useful for getting to the beach and back.

Absolutely fantastic stay!

Although I booked the charming cottage, a broken hot tub resulted in a switch over to their other property…which was out of this world. Everything was stunning. My kids and I felt truly spoiled and we hope to come back one day and fill the cabin with family. The space was massive and no expense was spared for comfort. The view of the lake right from the front door can’t be beat. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well-equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub despite some rainy weather. We felt so far away from home - it was perfect!

Cozy,clean & great amenities!

Stayed here 3 nights with a friend & my dog. The cottage is warm & inviting and very nicely decorated. Beautiful appliances, modern bathroom and cozy beds and comforters. The hosts have gone out of their way to anticipate their guests needs and generously provide bbq, fire pit, shampoo, spices, firewood , board games, a hot tub, towels ( you get the idea) This is such a nice alternative to some accommodations where there isn’t even a salt shaker! The only thing I can think of that I wish I had was a local map of the area so I could see where the beach access and hiking trails were. Wonderful accommodation - highly recommend!

Great vacation

We had a great week. The cottage was well stocked, clean, and had almost everything we needed. It rained the first 4 days of our week here but there was a lot of games and puzzles to do. The hot tub was great after cold afternoons. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen was spacious, and the deck was huge and blocked from wind and great to relax on! Everything we needed was in walking distance. Beaches, the bakery, the general store, inn, and fishing. Nothing has changed since i last came to Victoria Beach 25 years ago. And it was perfect. I cant wait to book with Glen again. I wont wait 25 years for next time. I hope to be back soon!

Great quiet getaway spot

Excellent stay here with a few friends. Full kitchen with a few staples like spices we had forgotten to bring. Barbeque was conveniently located right next to the kitchen door. Had a bit of an issue with the hot tub but the host quickly got back to us and offered us the use of the next door cabin and adjusted our checkout to give us ample time to use it as much as we wanted. Cabin was immaculately clean and we had plenty of choices of place to sleep. Overall a really good property and a great way to spend a weekend

Victoria Beach area cozy cottage

The owner & property manager undoubtedly know what they are doing right. What I believe might be helpful to them is to know what they've got wrong. Here goes ; - address signage lying face down on side of road - no garbage bags in cabin - Wi-Fi network information incorrect in both reservation information provided and in cabin information folder - woodstove filled with ash - woodstove glass door opaque with thick build-up of soot. I used car window scraper to scrape some of it off, but it needs work - dishwasher not cleaning dishes properly. Filter needs cleaning ? - nice cottage, but overpriced at $256.85 per night (3 night stay for $770.56) !

Victoria Beach Cottage

Charming spot. Hot tub was wonderful. Deck was huge. Fire pit and cornhole game were nice touch. Screened porch was great for evenings.
