The room was outdated with the bathroom facilities sub-par to say the least with shower doors that didn’t close properly, an unsecured toilet seat, and weak powered hair dryer . Additionally the fridge was broken and when raising this with the front desk we were told it wouldn’t be able to be looked at during the time of our stay. Overall the staff were very welcoming and helpful but the quality of the room was extremely disappointing. We were travelling through much of europe as part of an inter-rail journey and this was one of the most expensive reservations we had made. So to have a room this far below expectations was unacceptable. We would not stay here again but would say once more that this is completely down to the quality of the room and not down to the staff who tried as best they could within their limited capacity to help.
