“Zunächst vorab, besonders gut hat uns das Frühstück in der Natur gefallen. Wir wurden wie vereinbart durch die Gastgeber am Treffpunkt abgeholt. Dann erfolgte eine ca. 20 min. Fahrt ins Naturschutzgebiet über eine unbefestigte Straße mit sehr schönem Ausblick. Täler, Hügelkuppeln und Weitsicht bis ans Meer. Nach ca. 6-7 km gelangten wir dann in unser Tal, wo sich die Finca aus dem endenden 18. Jahrhundert befand. Wir hatten die Umgebung sogut wie für uns alleine. Warmwasser und Stromanschluss……

We felt like the property hadn’t been totally prepared for us as no gas bottle for bbq, no pool towels, no logs for burner and no waste bags. We had to chase for instructions on how to get there. “A stunning property with spectacular scenery. The hamlet next to the villa had two superb restaurants within walking distance. Comares (the most beautiful village in Andalucia) was a short drive or a long pleasant walk away and had a large selection of very good bars and restaurants, plus some friendly local shops. “Chris and Karen met us at the villa and couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a few issues with the electricity but once shown how to reset this all was good. The beds were extremely comfortable and the outside area was a delight with the pool set at a very comfortable heat. You will need a car as there are not any shops within walking distance. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, especially as we arrived on a day when all the shops were shut for a festival!”

“We stayed at Villa Romo for 10 days. The perfect place to get away and appreciate a slower pace and Spanish way of life. Carl & Maria were attentive throughout. Only snag was getting to the house on day one, as we were driving from Toledo. Managed to find the house before dark; a plus!
