The Space: Experience the charm of container home living in this unique tiny home located in Waco. This fascinating property, originally a 20’ shipping container, has been transformed into a cozy retreat that comfortably sleeps two guests. With its custom Murphy bed featuring a super-comfy Tuft & Needle queen size mattress, this home is perfect for a romantic getaway or a solo escape. The interior boasts a warm atmosphere with pine shiplap paneling and cedar siding on the exterior, allowing the original container to still be seen. Entry is through the original container doors, now enhanced with picturesque full glass for a modern touch. Comfortable Accommodation: \- Sleeps 2 people in a custom Murphy bed \- Super-comfy Tuft & Needle queen size mattress Interior Feeling: \- Insulated and paneled interior in pine shiplap \- Full-size, custom tiled shower \- Spacious bathroom Outdoor Bliss: \- Spacious rooftop deck with color-adjustable LED rail lights \- Fun rooftop deck surrounded by a custom cable railing system \- Accessed by an alternating step stairway Delightful Dining: \- Kitchen features an induction cooktop \- Fridge for your convenience \- Custom knotty alder tabletop for dining Professional Cleaning: \- Thoroughly cleaned and maintained for a pleasant stay This unique home started as a 20’ shipping container. We insulated and paneled the interior in pine shiplap. The outside is clad with cedar siding with spacing to allow the original container to still be seen. Entry is through the original container doors. We removed the steel panels from the doors and replaced them with picturesque full glass. The fun rooftop deck is surrounded by a custom cable railing system and lit with fully color-adjustable LED lights under the rail that gives the deck a beautiful glow at night. The deck is accessed by an alternating step stairway. Guest Access: The cabin and rooftop deck are all yours! The Neighborhood: Great, safe neighborhood in the country just north of Waco. 5 minutes from I-35 and 3 minutes from Homestead Cafe and Craft Village. Only 8 minute from the Waco airport. Getting Around: You can park right at the house and Uber is available. Interaction with Guests: We live right around the corner so are available for anything you need including any questions on the house or your time in Waco. The pictures on Vrbo are probably when the property was new, some of the items and furniture have some wear and tear with years and use. But I felt safe with the padlock, even with the bed close to the door. It took me a while to figure out the controls to the air conditioner. The outdoor top area was very pretty & comfortable, but I wasn't expecting the stairs to be as steep and patterned as they were. So I took caution climbing up and down the stairs.
