“We had no trouble finding the cabin and instantly felt at home. There were snacks and coffee/tea plus milk and yogurt in the fridge. It was great to grill out and have a fire while we waited for the stars to come out. Even saw a few fireflies. We enjoyed a vigorous day of hiking and coming back to relax at the cabin. I would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area. Thank you!”

“I thought this place was amazing! It had gorgeous views, the lawn was mowed, the stars came out at night..Too bad it didn't have a hot tub! But it was amazing! ”

“Thanks for sharing your welcoming cottage for our stay! We enjoyed kayaking and I took the rowboat out and caught a 20” LMB across the Lake from the decision city. The anchor rope broke as it was frayed at the end. Also the ants were very assertive in the kitchen until we put all food in the refrig.Best regards Tom and Sylvia”

“We had a wonderful stay in the cabin. Did a lot of fishing and playing cards on the back deck.”

“We had a wonderful time visiting Ricketts Glen and World End State Parks, only 20 mins away. The house is exactly as described in the listing. Very clean!! Quiet setting in the mountains. The new charcoal grill was an excellent addition. We also enjoyed the mamma and baby deer that visited every day. Plenty of outdoor space to play yard games we brought with us. Will definitely stay again! ”

“Our family had a wonderful stay in this quiet and comfortable house in Eaglesmere, equipped with all necessities--and many extra touches. From the locker and canoe at the lake to the firepit and s'mores fixings in the pantry, the hosts are thoughtful and attentive--and very easy to work with. A great place to enjoy the charms of Eaglesmere.”

“The owners have added some very nice touches to their VRBO, such as a Keurig, large TV in livingroom, hooded towels for children with books too. The house is air conditioned but with window units. There was a bit of a stale smoky smell to the house as my guess is it was once owned by a heavy smoker. It was more noticeable when leaving and returning to the house. There was an air purifier running at all times though. ”

“Ben was a very accommodating host. He met us on sight at check-in, showed us around the property and gave us his phone number in the event we needed to contact him for anything. There is a great bar-b-q area and hang out area right outside the front door. The house is in the middle of nowhere, great for rest and relaxation.”

“We were very pleased with this property. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive. We will consider renting again next year.”
