"The room and environment are quite nice, and the hotel is very close to the beach, which is convenient. However, we did not realize that swimming in the sea is not allowed in this area because of strong undercurrents. This is not the hotel’s fault, but it is important information for guests to know.

Le Meridien Shimei Bay Beach Resort & Spa

Le Meridien Shimei Bay Beach Resort & Spa

8/10 Good
"Beautiful property but seems to be catering very much to influencers. Food was not great but options are nearby outside of the resort. Staff were great. The pools need more shade. During most of the day the pools are barely usable due to the hot sun and the lagoon pool closes at 7 with the shadiest part of the lagoon pools being closed all the time during our visit due to no lifeguard being present."
